Strangely enough, I will probably NOT be going to the B&N party. I already got the promo goodies from H-C, I have Unfortunate Day at school, and I need the evening to read the book.

Turns out my B&N might be having a party, and even though I don't want to go I might wind up there, since I have a poor memory and I usually go there Friday night when my friends aren't coming over.

I may go to Manhattan to see Lemony Snicket there. My B&N is so close is that I can walk there. I hope i get good stuff, I talked to one of the employees and they said a person is going to come as Count Olaf

They are releasing the book at midnight (in the U.S.). It may be released at midnight but I haven't seen any stores that are having parties or anything like that at midnight. You might be able to buy it at a 24-hour Walmart, but Borders, B&N, etc won't be open to sell it. |

I live out in the boonies where the nearest B&N is about a half hour drive. Needless to say I won't be going. Instead two old roommates and their sister and I are having an UE party tomorrow. We're eating puttenesca (sp?), drinking hot chocolate with cinnamon mixed in it, and then reading a few chapters, and admiring Bret's drawings together. I went this morning and got the book, and I must say, it's taking everything I've got to not read anything until tomorrow.
