If you sign up for the mailing list on the French site (http://www.nathan.fr/orphelinsbaudelaire/) you can--"recevez en avant-premiere un extrait du premier chapitre du TOME XIII, et tous les infos sur les prochaines parutions!" which means "receive in preview an extract of the first chapter of the VOLUME XIII, and all the info on the next publications!" Most likely, this will be after the Engliosh world release, but it is still worth noting.

I signed up for this months ago, but didn't post about it because, as you said, it'll most likely be after the English world release. And it would be very strange to have an extract given out of a foreign language translation before one is given out of the original English. (They certainly don't have much time left, but then again, if I was able to sign up months ago, that might indicate optimism on the part of the French publishers. Still dubious, though.)

Yeah, I signed up for it several months ago as well, and haven't got anything yet. So...yup. I doubt it will happedn before the English Speaking world knows.
