I have the U.K. edition with everything in it- the changes were made sometime last year I think.

Thanks for confirming that, pevalwen! Whenever I went to bookstores, I'd check copies of The End to see if they'd been updated, but I've been housebound for a while.

Perhaps you could order them online? You'll want to get TBL and the U.A. while you still can.

Are they going out of print?

I heard about this shortly before I got the book for Christmas of 2006. (Boy, I was NOT feeling well that day!!!) When I got it, the first thing I did was look at the Chapter 2 picture and laugh cruelly at it. I showed it to my mum and she said to keep it because it could be worth quite a lot of money one day.

And they dont have TBL or TUA either...*SULKS* Amazon.co.uk (or .com) does them very cheaply, if you can't find them.

Are they going out of print? I don't know, but I would guess that they'll stop reissuing the U.A. and TBL long before they stop reissuing the main series, because the U.A. and TBL are "optional." You'd have thought they'd do e-book versions. I'm not a big fan of e-books, but it could ensure that effectively no book ever becomes totally unobtainable, although it might be unobtainable as a physical object. But no, as far as I know, there are only e-books of the main series.

It's probably better to get the corporeal version, anyway. Especially for TBL.

Yeah, but it costs everyone less to quit printing corporeal copies eventually, when there's no real market for it any more. Unless it's converted to e-book format to compensate for the culling of the print line, that's it. No more TBL. With e-copies brought online after that point, the book can still be acquired without anyone having to print it, bind it, stock it.

It's worth it though, sometimes, to spend all that time and money. I'm guessing it'll be a while before the U.A. and/or TBL become entirely extinct; as long as the book series is still going strong, the supplements should, too.
