Fiona, Friday, and Fernald possible family?

I was reading The End again when I read a part where Friday was telling the Baudelaires that her father had been killed in a manatee attack. I then remembered about back in The Grim Grotto when Fiona was telling the Baudelaires that her mother had been killed in a manatee attack, but she didn't believe that. I think she's right. I think that Fiona and Fernald's (hook-handed man) mother was Friday's mother, Mrs. Caliban, and that Friday's father and Mrs. Caliban's husband is Captain Widdershins. I could be wrong, but I'm just getting suspicious, especially since all three characters' first names start with the letter "F". (please respond)
