Does Dumbledore favor Harry above the other students? Does he get away with stuff that he shouldn't? Do teachers especially watch out for and respect him despite his nearly constant rule-breaking and bizarre behaviour in public? If you went to Hogwarts, wouldn't you feel just a bit resentful too?

Definitely. Harry always gets away with stuff. He'll break thousands of rules and get rewarded for doing so... I mean, yeah, he saves the day, but he doesn't respect the rules, the teachers' authority, the other students. I'm with Snape on this one... Potter's a little brat and definitely has a lot of undue popularity and power. Guh. I mean, as a reader, I don't really agree with what I'm saying, but if I were another student I'd be pretty p.o.ed.

Yes, Harry gets away with murder, but I mean, if he didn't bend rules, break rules or shatter rules into millions of pieces, everyone would be dead.

I know... but as a student or a teacher or anyone in the Wizarding World, I think I'd find it a little unfair.

I'd be on Malfoy's side, and together we'd kick Harry Potter's behind, because someone has to. Then me and Malfoy would get married.

I think Harry does get away with alot, even though he ends up saving the day and peoples lives and all that stuff. But if I was malfoy I'd be really annoyed and jelous, although that's what makes the books good, malfoy resenting harry.
By the way, sorry but I'd marry draco. lol.

What would the stories be without a school enemy? surely we all have one? I certainly do! I think Malfoy is there to just mix a bit of trouble up, or he may have a bigger roll in the upcoming books?

In many stories the school enemy is the person who is favored by all the teachers and gets away with stuff and plots against the protagonist. Like Carmelita.

Malfoy's just jealous. but he does have a point when saying that Harry get's away with almost anything.

If I were Malfoy, I'd go see a psychiatrist. Malfoy does have kind of a point, but Harry gets away with these things for good reasons. He does these things in order to help those in the school remain safe. Plus he saved the world once when he was a baby, so u can't expect everyone to ignore that and treat him as though he were just another dumb teenager. I'd be thinking of sympathy and respect for Harry even if I felt jealous. Who wants to make life difficult for an orphan who gets chased around by the most evil wizard who has ever lived? Not me, it's not cool.

Yeah, sure whatever, Harry has no point in the story. I think Rowling should start all over again and make them all about Draco.
Pansy should not marry Draco! I would like to see Draco going for someone good.

Well it's not going to be Hermione for him, JK said so. I hope Draco and Harry can cool their little grudge in book 6. Although I have a bad feeling it will only get worse with the powers rising.

In an upcoming book draco's dad will probably be murdered by lord voldemort, and draco will go against him for revenge for his father, so he'll sort of make up with harry and join the order (if he's old enough) and then when voldie's dead and everything's back to normal, draco and harry will hate each other again, though they'll be glad that they do because that will mean that everything;s normal again, though they'll have a little respect for one another now.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I can't see Lucius getting killed by Lord Voldie. But u cannot doubt that Draco would be driven mad if his father's life was threatened, Lucius is his hero/idol. I think Malfoy's gonna be Voldie's boy like Harry is Dumbledore's.
