Hmmm, intersting theory, Jaques. Like Draco finally having someone who lets him break the rules, ect. Very probable, never thought of it. I hope it doesn't happen though, I'd like to see Draco be good for once. Just once.

I'm all for Draco turning away from Voldie, but Draco is allowed to break the rules. The minister and Umbridge had no problem with it in book 5 and his father's got too much gold and influence for him to be treated normally.

Well, just look at his friends! Crabbe and Goyle! I mean, come on. I wouldn't treat them nice, either. And Harry deserves whatever he gets from Malfoy. So sure, Malfoy is mean to some people he shouldn't be mean to, but hey, he's Malfoy.

Harry does NOT deserve whatever he gets from Malfoy. Malfoy's a selfish brat who's got nothing better to do than torment an already tormented orphan. Harry deserves better treatment for Dumbledore after being famous for losing his parents and surviving a killing curse, plus having his childhood robbed from him by the dumb dursleys. Malfoy should make fun of a wall.

Harry is almost just as mean as Malfoy, just in his own way, so you don't see it as much. He snaps, and screams, and gets totally pissed all the time, and this is to his friends! And Harry is just annoying! I don't think I've ever been more annoyed for a fictional character then when Harry saved all those people from the water in book 4. So yes, Harry deserves everything he gets.  |

Almost got ur soul stolen away(the worst thing that can possibly happen to u as a muggle or a wizard) plus to add to this when u saved urself from eternal nothingness the $*%@ ministry expelled u from the one place that gives u joy. And when u ask why everything happened the way it did, u receive no answers whatsoever, plus ur obnoxious muggle guardians chastise u for defending urself and get confused over who jinxed ur fat, brattish cousin. I'd be pretty pissed even to my friends as well if that's what happened to me. Plus after having no word at all of what happened, ur suddenly swept off by a team of wizards, whom half of them u don't know. U were frightened, defended urself, and were punished about 3 different ways plus ur confused and disoriented. Yeah sure, u deserve more trouble.. |

Actually, Draco Malfoy is completely in the right to hate Harry. You have to realize that Draco isn't reading the book, Draco is seeing things from his own point of view. Draco sees Harry never getting into trouble and being little Mr. Goody-Two-Shoes all the time. Draco doesn't know what goes through Harry's head any more than he knows what Harry's life at the Dursleys is like. I'd be pretty pissed off too if I was in Draco's position.
As to the whole issue of Draco and Harry teaming up, JKR has said in interviews it ain't gonna happen. Mind you, she didn't say that they wouldn't be on the same side, just that they would never get along.

Just because Harry gets off sometimes doesn't mean Malfoy has a right t0 hate him. He knows Harry suffered the loss of his parents WAY too early, he also knows that he was sent to live with muggles. I'd try to be sympathetic with Harry rather than make fun of him and all of his friends.

That's a good point, about Malfoy not reading the books. Also, about the whole, 'well he doesn't know what it's like living with the Dursleys.' Well, Harry doesn't know what it's like living at the Malfoy's. I mean, Lucius seems like a pretty abusive father, which is why Draco is the way he is. Lucius could be making Draco murder muggles for all we know.

Lucius doesn't sound like an abusive father to me. He sounds like Uncle Vernon. Indulges his wife and son to their every whim, but anyone who slightly annoys him he gets WAY ticked at. I mean, haven't u noticed how much crap Lucius gets Malfoy(constant treats from home, newspapers, nimbus2001setc..)? Malfoy has been raised badly, but so was Sirius and u didn't see him making fun of orphans for sport!
