I personally do not like Harry Potter. the movies are okay, i guess, but i never get into the whole imagination thing, really. i know its a stupid reason, but the book looks too long to even want to pick it up and read. now, on the other hand, the series of unfortunate events is just the right sized book for me to want to read, except they seem to keep on getting bigger the more into the series we go! -vile violet

I've never read one of those unfortunate events books, but i love the Harry Potter books. When i bought Ootp i couldn't put it down, i find them all totally addictive, and as for the size of them, the bigger the better i say! (no pun intended)

Then why'd you register here?! you don't need to have read the ASOUE books in order to register here. well, it's nice, but you don't have to.

I would go see it opening night, (like I have for the last 2 movies) but I have SAT's the next morning. But my mom says we're gonna go see it after I take my SATs, so I'm happy.

I have SATs next week, so I hope they'll be over in time so I can get out and see it. At least it looks better than to other two movies. Kay, Vile Violet, why would you make a poll about disliking HP in the HP section? To be totally honest, no one cares.

Rowling's writing isn't good. It is truly her plot that everyone loves. Her writing is descriptive, but not eye-catching. I have a friend and she says she loves them. But rruly, the writing just isn't good. Part of the fans are crazy about the movies, and another chunk is crazy about the plot. Just my opinion.
