I think that it's neville, but thats the most obvious, so it will probably be someone who we least expect, or a new character as people have been saying.

I think if it is someone we know of it'll be a lesser character and someone liked though not mainstream.
It could be Sirius, he fell through the veil so he's half blood because he was alive when he fell and half dead because he's behind the veil. Pandora knows Sirius is not the half blood prince, but this is just her half brianed attempt at making herself better.

What about Dean Thomas? Or Lee Jordan? Did any of the books say if they were half blood? Or what about Cedr--nonono, can't be him, he's dead. Nevermind about Cedric.

Wow, I leave a few hours, and come back, and we're at page 4 already.
Going off of what happened with Sirius... if he was mentioned in passing in book one, couldn't the HBP be someone else who's been mentioned, just in passing, as opposed to an entirely new character? JK seems to like to do that sort of thing... she did it again with the lady with the cats... mentioned briefly in book 1, then turns out to be a witch in book 5.

I think it's possible, but I'm still think that it could be a minor major character like Seamus or something could be the HBP. I agree with you so very much.

I thought Order of the Phoenix was a horrible title too.. and it was a horrible book but I thought the same thing with the Goblet of Fire and I lreally enjoyed it.
When was Sirius mentioned in book one?
