The Goblet of Fire I suppose. But I'll probably change my mind sooner or later!

Ok, I reread the series. My favorite is most definitely the Prisoner of Azkaban.

In order:
Half-Blood Prince Chamber of Secrets Order of the Phoenix Goblet of Fire Prisoner of Azkaban Philosopher's Stone
PS and POA probably joint last, because PS was like the first story and introduced us to the world...

Half Blood Prince. I won't say any more for fear of spoiling unsuspecting people.

Half-Blood Prince. I liked how we got to see more of Voldemort's past.
EDIT: I was re-reading OotP, and I noticed that Scrimgeour is mentioned by Lupin. I don't remember seeing that before.

Half blood prince is on top like I think I said before, then OOTP and GOF are tied, so it's kinda the series backwards, very close together in my favorite scale, with two of them tied.

POA for sentimental reasons.
I like HBP but it's murder trying to read it. I'm not sure that makes sense.

I like HBP but it's murder trying to read it. I'm not sure that makes sense. You're quite right; it doesn't. Could you possibly explain...? I'm not sure if I've posted this before, but my order is: PoA OotP <----- these two PS (SS) <--- are tied...CoS HBP GoF

My favourite was Prisioner of Azkaban. I was glad that Voldemort wasn't in it. After reading the first two books I thought it would get a bit repetitive; Harry using the skills he learned through this year at Hogwarts and use them to defeat the most powerful wizard ever . When there was no showdown in POA it made me happy. neither of them happend in HBP

True, but nothing much else happened either. I think the plotline was woefully inadequate. (where did I get that from? I seem to recall reading the phrase "woefully inadequate" elsewhere...) Sure, we got a lot of information regarding Voldemort's past, but other than that, pretty much nothing happened.

I believe my favourite changes with every re-read of the series. At the moment it is Goblet of Fire merely due to the action involved. I was rather dissapointed with the Half Blood Prince but after my third read of it it has grown on me.

POA is my first favorite for the first true apperance of Sirius. I suppose OOtP is my second favorite, despite the end. Though he is not dead; I know he is not dead. Third is HBP. Fourth, GoF. Fifth, CoS. Sixth, SS.

Wow I really liked the HBP, but I loved POA or GOF. I can't decide. Here's my list, starting from fav to least fav: GOF POA HBP COS SS OOTF
Yeah, I kinda didn't like the Order of the Pheonix.
