Well you also get "the lord of murder" if you rearrange Aberforth Dumbledore. Wha . . .? Where are the missing letters? A, 2 Bs, another E?

[glow=purple,2,300]Maybe Ollivander IS evil
"' The wand chooses the wizard, remember.... I think we must expect great things from you, Mr. Potter.... Aftger all, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named did great things- terrible, yes, but great." Harry shivered. HE WASN'T SURE HE LIKED MR. OLLIVANDER TOO MUCH." (The Sorcerer's Stone p. 85)
We know that first impressions might be wrong but usually as far as this book goes, they are right.[/glow]

It's a generalization of the books that HARRY IS ALWAYS RIGHT. I hope that Ron and Hermione get that this time, so they don't waste half the book second guessing him. That really gets tiring.

By no means is Harry always right. He thought snape was trying to steal the stone while he was fending off quirrell. But first impressions are important and the impression Dead! just pointed out is one of the reasons I'm suspicious of Ollivander.

I don't know. I like Ollivander a lot. Wasn't he one of the most trusted wizards in the wizarding world? Although his dissappearance is suspicious.... I always felt that Harry's impressions, although they may have been always correct, were always a tad... misguided. Yes, you could say I'm wrong and say that Harry was always right about Snape, even though that was misguided, and say that he was still evil. But Harry's impression of him changed a bit- there had always been backthoughts. And, why did he not think that his other main enemy other than Malfoy (Snape) could be behind part of Malfoy's plot in the sixth book? Why did it take him so long, hm?

Ollivander's disapearance is possibly important to the plot in Book Seven. He did give Harry and Voldemort their wands.
Another thing is that I think Harry is a horcrux. It is rare that two wizards share the same wand and maybe the reason Harry has the same wand is that he is part of Voldemort. He would attract the same type of wand.

Now that I think about it, if Ollivander is on the Evil Side, it could have particularly nasty implications, considering that he provides wands for the entire wizarding world. What if he uses his position to corrupt people's wands? He could, for example, cast a spell that would make certain wands fail to work as of a particular date. Wow.
(Sorry if this has been said before)

I don't think he can do that now though, seeing as he's already left shop. He may have done such a thing in the past though if he's on the bad side.

Or he could just be a coward and have fled to some place distant to avoid being attacked by Voldemort for wands. We have to leave all options open to consideration.
