I love Snape. He is amazing...and somehow really attractive! *le siiigh* I'm a Snape fan. And...I actually do think he's cute in a strange old-guy way. Minus greasy hair, of course. Does anyone else share my insanity? Reason for Editing: Adding a sexy image.Reason for Editing: Adding a sexy image.

I know these people do. I like his character development and I think he's a very tragic hero. But I think he was also too arrogant and begrudging for him to be considered "amazing".

Snape is a very intriguing character. Somewhat of a hero, somewhat of a villain. I like characters whose loyalties are difficult to deduce, the mystery to them is exciting.

Yeah the sixth and seventh movies will definitely be jarring. Losing Dumbledore in HBP and TONS OF PEOPLE in DH will be tear-jerking I'm sure.

That's gonna be pretty sweet unless they somehow manage to make it anticlimactic with him just keeling over.

But Snape only developed into a truly well-rounded character with depth in the HP7.

God, Jacques...I could totally see them doing that with Voldy... *crossing fingers that it doesn't happen*
I am really going to miss Snape...and Tonks...and Lupin...and Colin Creevy (whatwasthepointofkillinghimanyway?). Aaah Sev. really only did start to become an amazing character in DH. Rowling spent too much time discussing camping, if you ask me.

It's supposed to denote the time they spent in the woods and all the boredom and frustration along with it.Which I think she expressed very well. Still, DH was the book with the most stuff happening.

I think Snape's always been a deep, interesting character on some level. Even in SS you never knew which side he was on: Dumbledore's or Voldemort's plus he had all those slimy things in jars and obviously had a dark history with Harry's father so he had all that murky mystery about him.
But I really became interested in him after HBP because I was, at first, almost certain that he was on Voldy's side but after reading the contrasting theories I came to believe he was still fighting on Dumbledore's side, though he killed him.
In HBP Snape is revealed to have extraordinarily skill, just beneath that of Dumbledore and Voldemort, and we know how good his occlumency is from book 5. You can't deny that he's deep and interesting when you know he's the right hand man to the two most powerful and opposed wizards in the world.
