Is he really "broken down"? I don't think he's that emotional. Are you JS? I think the right thing to do would be to ban him for a while. Popping into this thread real quick to voice my agreement (as if anyone had any doubt!). The pretend court system is stuffy and ineffective, I'm just for bannings whenever appropriate. I was talking to Trag about this over AIM and the only real consequence I could see is people whining about it being totalitarian, but it's only totalitarian if you've done something to deserve it. He's only banned like what, three or four people? Trag's been more than fair. Bannings on the spot would probably only happen once in a while (and I'm guessing with a warning, first, so it wouldn't be too whoa-why-can't-I-post-like), anyway. Also, who in their right mind gets "broken down" over being banned from a message board? Boo hoo. So you can't post on some tiny corner of the Internet. Deal. Okay, leaving now.

Um... Luna, if you are trying to insult me, you are wrong... I am not broken down... I am just upset... If anyone can't tell by the fact I make about 20 posts here, per day, that I love 667, then I am telling you now.... By the way, I alreadyt apologized to Mrs. Kobolos, way before this was even brought in court... But, on the underside, I actually did not brake any rules in any of the posts Kobo quoted...

Yeah, I have explained that, kinda (scroll up). But I think that now you've promised to behave, you will... and yeah you do love 667... So I think you need another chance...

Kimia was the one who said you were broken down in the first place.

I know, but I don't think she meant broken down as in "depressed and crying"... Just upset...

Wow, in 2 days there have been 7 more pages added to this thread. Of course I think Jerome should get another chance. Whenever I've talked to him he's been quite polite and nice, and only insults someone when he feels threatened(that I've seen) Plus, I think the fact that he and J get along to this day is saying something, considering how much they once bickered and argued. If Jerome can make friends with and apologize sincerely to the people he has offended then it says that he is capable of changing his ways and being a nicer person on this forum. So there's no trial? You're going to demolish the whole court system? This is big... I think that Jerome has offended people, but he has obviously apologized profusely and sincerely for what he has done, and again obviously, he has quite a few friends and supporters on 667(including me) That's my opinion(doubt many people care) but there it is.

But- even with apologizing he is still evading responsibility. That whole "I only argue back as a defense mechanism- a defense mechanism I tell you!" doesn't fly with me. It makes it sound like being rude and disrespectful is as natural as ducking when a ball flies at you, like a reflex. But human beings do have control over their emotions. The only one in the history of the world who has not is Phineas Gage- who had his amygdala (emotional center) severed from his prefrontal cortex (decision making sector). So unless Jerome looks like this: -he has no excuse. He has apologized (profusely, if not sincerely), but he still has not taken responsibility, he still is not sorry, and he still will act up again. He has said that he is only refraining from insults until the trial is over, that he is only behaving himself as long as there's a chance that he might not get banned, that he is justified in everything he's said, and that he still isn't breaking any rules. The whole thing is an act, and this is making him popular now even though he wasn't before. Even with all this, I don't think he ought to be banned forever. Just punished enough that this doesn't look like a victory of immaturity over responsibility and justice.

Two weeks sounds good to me. He'll have plenty of time to reflect and repent.

It makes it sound like being rude and disrespectful is as natural as ducking when a ball flies at you, like a reflex. But human beings do have control over their emotions. And it is people like you that would be the main reason if I continued my old ways, if I did, which I won't... You cannot move on... You cannot let go of the past, and have a happy forum... I, and the rest of us, do not care if it doesn't "fly" for you... What Tragedy says matters, and it is insanely ludacris of you to come on here trying to arouse the hate that once was... P.S.: Are you the type of person that would stand there and get pegged in the head by the dodgeball? That should explain enough... Um! Excuse me? Don't you ever act as if you are in my head again! You don't know what I think, if I am sorry, or if I will act again! Who do you think you are? The Matrix's Architect? The only one that I might not be sorry to is YOU! (Which matters not, because I am sure I never insulted you) So, you are mad because I get along with people now? Can someone say personal vendetta? Grow up... Even with all this, I don't think he ought to be banned forever. Just punished enough that this doesn't look like a victory of immaturity over responsibility and justice. So, basically you are frightened that it might not look as if you "won" enough? The people I once argued with are now my friends (i.e. J, Tocuna)... Deal with it!

Two weeks sounds reasonable, indeed... I accept my punishment, without an arguement...
