No, that's what I mean... To be a jury member, you should at least have more than 100 posts... And anyone that does already has an opinion of me... So it is either people who hate me, people who have no opinion (maybe 1 or 2 people) or people who like me... People were already chosen, deal with it...

The jury was made up of the five members who asked first. There are no more jury spaces available. If I remember correctly, Tragedy gave Jerome his first strike. I gave him strikes for these posts, both in the Racism thread: Why are you telling me what a bigot is? Here is a word for you... jackass noun1. a moronic idiot that thinks they are smart, but really have the stupidest jokes ever, and need to get a life, instead of going on a damn forum 23/7... (I gave you an hour of sleep, and I just assumed that you don't shower) 2. a donkey Either way, you are both, so it does not matter... Damn... You, like, worship her, you freak... I know she is right a lot... But I bet if she said that India sucks, you'd agree wit her (Your Indian, right?), so shut the potato up, dirtbag... ( I mean her, personally, not Indians) |

I don't deny posting either of those... And now, after reading them, I realizehow cruel they sound...
However, I posted the first one, because I was called something along the lines of a twisted bigot... After a great amount of pages of insults from the person the post was referred to...
The second, I said because she was insulting me and saying something about swans crushing me or something... Of course, I agree that swans is always right and very wise, but she said something very rude first... Of curse, I know longer think anything like that of Panda (I think that's who it was about)

J: First of all, it's very injust that Jerome is the only person on trial while I did the same thing and got one strike. So, I repeat nyself, either we both should go on trial or Jerome should get off with 2 strikes--I think he should only get one, for calling Kobo a pedophile, but I guess 2 because he insulted people before, mainly me. And if one insults a person directly, the person should only get a strike if the insultee presses charges. So if one of the 3 strikes Jerome got was because he insulted me, I would like to try to get it off...
Captiosus: Also, I want what he got strikes for quoted, in chronological order, with captions reading (this was his first strike) (second strike) (third) (he did this after his third) etc.

Captiosus: *eyes narrow* Great, I have to go after swans? Hrm...if it doesn't fit you must acquit. I mean...Jerome was in Disturbing Discussion in a debate about religion, a subject which many people are passionate about. Then. people started ganging up on him that he wasn't presenting proof, etc, etc. I was the worst offendor. And if I remember correctly, Jerome wanted to stop the fight of insults. If I could find when he says that...as soon as my nose and mouth gets unclogged and I can breathe, and I can get some sleep...
Anyway, I do believe at least once Jerome wanted to stop the fight, but many people *coughmecough* wanted to get the last word in, so it continued.
J: So Jerome was provoked by me, and in a way it was self defense Well...not really, in a small sense it was. But let's say it was self defense, because that's a nice ticket to being declared innocent.

J, we might as well have a trial for you later. It seems like that's what you're asking for, right?
All of you, stop talking about how if Jerome is getting a trial a whole lot of other people deserves strikes. That's not the point.

Yes, I agree. This case is about Jerome, not about J and other people's strikes. However, I have to say that I agree with J on the fact that it is unjust that Jerome is the only person on trial while she did the same thing and got one strike.

I know the story of J and all the other people involved who also deserve to be on trial. But they're not because I didn't receive any immediate complains. As Jerome, said, he didn't feel the necessity of reporting them. Actually... I'm quite sure I received ONE complaint from Jerome about J. Just one though. He basically said that if I'm giving him strikes, then J should also get one. But people (namely Kobolos and... other people I'm forgetting at the moment) did send me complaints about Jerome's conduct. For this, I had to act quickly. |

Answer to swans questions:
So why did you insult people (you only need to cover your three strikes, and the warning by Tragedy)?
I guess, mainly, because I was hurt by their insults... Not so much as the direct insults (although a great deal of it was) but also because they mocked everything I believed and made it sound stupid... I did it to hurt them the way they had hurt me... I didn't realize that maybe if I had just not respnded... the hurt they were causing me would stop, and we could move on...
Were you brought up to think this way? Did you know it was wrong?
Of course I wasn't brought up to think this way, not by my parents, at least... In my school, you are looked at as a "pussy" (a wimp) if you sit and take insults, without responding back... I guess that's where I learned to deflect insults back at the insulting... Yes, I knew it was wrong... But alls that was going through my head at the time was, why is it okay for me to made a fool and get insulted, but I cannot do it back...
And if you did not know any better how do you feel about the situation now? Can you realize why someone would be hurt by some of the things you said?
Well, I feel bad now, because I have made friends with many of the people I insulted, and I realize that they are good people and do not deserve to be treated this way... I realize I acted immature and responded in a childish way, instead of taking the higher road... I do realize how people can be hurt by insults, because I have been there many times... I understand it does not feel good, and makes you more hateful...
Do you think you have come to a point where you can change, or will you continue to react in the same manner?
Of course I will not continue to act this way... I realize now the consequences and how some people can seriously be offended...

Please do not take J to trial! She is so nice and is actually very mature... Living with 5 siblings, I have never seen anyone so quick to admit their wrong-doing... All of which is a fact (Except reasonable.). I'd quote myself, but I can't quote two quotes in one post. I said that she would win, as she had (will have) more backup than you.And looking at some of her past posts, she does/did. Wait, Annabelle wants to add something. Annabelle: In the Racism thread, Kimia, you have said how much she like Jerome and why you think he is great. That isn't scarcely friends, is it? And when we asked why, she said how when Jerome talks to her, he is very nice and polite and kind. Now, it could be IM or PMs , but if she said that Jerome was really nice outside of that thread (s), she must know him more, not scarcely. |

Another one of swans's points... I have a great feeling that all the reports were not to follow the rules, but as a personal vendetta... Obviously, if it were to follow rules, complaints on the others would be made too...
