My initials are SK; I figured both of them were in Snicket's name. I considered SnicKet, but that looked kind of stupid, and I wanted an anagram. I then remembered Loney M. Setnick, author of The Pony Party (on the reverse of the UA cover), and figured, heck, I'd make my name SetnicK.
My current username was inspired by the author-theme, and by the fact that Pride and Prejudice is an awesome book.
Anyway, I was just curious as to the reasoning behind y'all's usernames.

My original one (Linda Rhaldeen) is an anagram for Daniel Handler.
My current one (Edgar Allen Poe) is a tribute to the greatest horror writer of all time.

I changed my name to Charlotte Bronte because I liked the new theme with authors. Also, I have been meaning to read Jane Eyre.
On a different note: Mr. Poe, your second name should be Allan, not Allen. It is spelled differently.

My first user name, Dear Dairy, comes from the LSUA and all the letters addressed to Dear Dairy. My avatar was inspired by the cow-disguised henchperson, and went along well with the Valorous Farms Dairy theme.
My current one, Harper Lee, is in keeping with the author theme, the writer of To Kill a Mockingbird. It's one of the greatest novels of American Literature. My avatar is Mary Badham, who played Scout in the 1962 movie. I only found one really bad photo of Harper Lee herself, who was somewhat skittish and reclusive, I hear.
Charlotte Bronte, do read Jane Eyre soon. It's another one of my favorites! Edward Rochester - what a man!

Because Mark Twain is definitely the white suit wearing southern love of my life. I admire his way with words, and how he encourages me to not spell things right. *dreamy sigh*
And Pandora is my name. Or it should be. My parents really had no authority to name me what they wanted without consulting me.

and my current one is Harper Collins because it's a publisher and I saw Harper Lee and thought of it.

My original name--snicketface-- is two part, Snicket.. is obvious because of lemony snicket, and face is a nickname given to me by my friend L. My current one is going along with the author theme. Geoffery Chaucer is the writer of the The Canterbury Tales.

I have no idea why I chose Question Mark but even if I change my name on here people refer to me as Question Mark. It sticks with me, I guess.

My account name, FFWF, is an abbreviation of "Fight Fire With Fire." The sinister duo from TSS had a big effect on me.
My usual name, Dante, is after the Italian poet who wrote The Divine Comedy. It's also a name I prefer to my real one, and I probably use it more than that now.
My current name, Franz Kafka, is for the current literary names theme. I quite admire Kafka's works, and I'd just read one of his books a few days ago, and I felt like changing my username for a while. It's also a really cool surname.
