To put it simply, there's just no clue as to what that gray-ish blob could be.

Gigi, you beat me to the link, so I deleted my first post.
And it appears that the person who asked the question deleted theirs too. Unless it was a Detriment Deleter who deleted it.
EDIT: But let's get back on topic.

I don't think that woman is Kit. The woman looks too suspicious. She looks like she has an evil plot in mind, or is suspicious of the circumstances.

Where exactly is the coundown? On the main page, click on Lemony's signature. Choose one of the page designs, it doesn't matter which. On the next page is the countdown. I don't see it there.

No, but I did now. They put up the countdown I asked for! Yay! They need to check their calendar. It says 0 days. Where exactly is the coundown?

So what, for now, the cover is good enough for me. So now we know why the Task III folders are so much more closely spaced. EDIT: Why is Klaus wearing sunglasses? Is that what Bellhops usually wear? Sorry I don't really know.

Looking at today's clue next to yesterday's clue... Does anyone else get a sense of foreboding? That certainly is eerie. I think that all of the "Daily Clues" are starting to become REAL clues, not just the vague quotes from other books. And I think that by now it is pretty obvious that Hotel Denouement will burn to the ground.

Yes! I just noticed that and was about to post the very same thing. Mine was always on Klaus; now, Sunny automatically shows up when I go to the site. Same here. YES!!! Finally Sunny!! Fake Edit: I think the Harpercollins people have purposely changed it so that each month is a different person. Olaf is next!

It was said when She and Quigley disguised themselves as the Baudelaires and particiipated in S.O.R.E. so that the real Baudelaire's could research a way to escape Count Olaf's scheme. Correction: Isadora recited it to the Baudelaires when she and DUNCAN were going to disguise as the Baudelaires. Was the mistake just an accident?

It could be Widdershins, I guess. All we know about him is that he has a long, thin moustache which curls up at the ends like a pair of parentheses. The mystery man's moustache is rather thick, though. Still, it'd be interesting to know what happened to Widdershins (and Phil), although I have a slight suspicion that they might not be seen again until B13. That's only personal preference, though. They could well be back in B12. I don't want Widdershins to be back. I honestly don't think that the man in Picture 3 is anyone that we know yet. As for the cut elevator picture, I also think that the woman with the drill could have accidentally cut the cable, or even that she didn't cut it at all.

Hey, I just did that too! So why, then, if they said that Task III starts on the 16th, why hasn't it shown there yet? I am assuming this is an uncompleted calendar for September that Harper-Collins hasn't added Task III to yet. But we now know the dates of the next clues are: Sept. 2, Sept. 6, Sept. 8, Sept. 14. YAY!!!! Only one more day!

I was just over at namelessnovel.com and realized that we don't know what day our next clue strip will be! September's calendar isn't up. AAAaaaah! I hate not knowing if I should stay up late tomorrow. That has also begun to bug me. What if, just to annoy us, they had the next clue scheduled for next Monday.

Well, I don't ever recall seeing Mr. Poe with a mustache. There is a rather clear picture of Mr. Poe at the end of TGG and he is plump and a little blobby where this man is rather broad and stiff. I think that these are members of V.F.D. that we haven't met yet that are working on something important. An even better picture is the end picture of The Wide Window, which makes it perfectly clear that Mr. Poe doesn't have a mustache. I think that the man is someone we have never seen yet. The woman could possibly be Kit, trying to disguise herself and anxiously watching the door of the room she's in because she's afraid somebody will discover her there.

But the full-page pictures in all the other books aren't triptychs. I doubt Helquist would part with tradition. And it would make me angry if he did.
