Book The Fourth isn't really essential to the ongoing plot, and it's certainly not one of the better books. Then again, Phil does show up in TGG, but there's always the possibility of having him be a Prufrock staff member or something if they leave out TMM.

That's because it's one of the basic three books at the beginning of the series (and because it later turns out to be quite relevant, in retrospect - the events of TRR affected TSS, and will certainly affect one or both of the last two books).

If you go back to that Emily Browning biography link, there is rather unforunate news, they have taken away The Tragic Tale Continues!!!! But I'm still sure there will be a sequel. I think that they are starting to film it in Sep 2005 but they took it away because it's supposed 2 be a surprise!

Some kid probably thought it would be a good name for a sequel, and stuck it on her page. IMDB isn't reliable, as demonstrated by a recent example where they listed a number of characters and actors for the last episode of Doctor Who who turned out not to be in the episode at all.

scifi.about.com/od/booksarticles/a/hail302_4.htm Even though Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events ¡°only¡± grossed $118 million domestic, a sequel isn't out of the questions, especially if Jim Carrey wants to do it. Expect the production budget to descrease, however.
