GOT IT. I've only read about 100 pages, so far.
Now, for those of you who haven't got it yet, a few tantalizing hints of what is to come:
-It's smaller than Drowned Wednesday
-Mister Monday and Grim Tuesday are mentioned again
-The Seventh Key is somehow different to the other Keys
-Arthur is the 6th precedent within the house
-The Will is acting very, very, very, very suspcious. She'll almost certainly turn evil in the last book
-More on the Skinless Boy
-Sir Thursday's deadly sin is revealed. It's pretty obvious
-There does seem to be some huge plot to destroy the House, an elaborate and tricky plot
-And Garth, of course, has tied up a few loose plot ends with some cheap devices. You'll see, when you read
I hope I haven't spoiled too much. *reads*
Edit: Read it. Dissapointing. Not as good as the others...though it was allright. Meh. I hope he does better, next book.
Some more hints, perhaps?
-The Piper is finally revealed
and
-The Book ends on a Cliffhanger note. More so, than most
-And the new Will is dodgy
-The Key is allright

Sometimes stores just put books out early. I got the last Alex Rider book a few days before its release, to.
With regards to the actual book: Sounds interesting, at least, but your post (PJ) reassures me that there'll be plenty to criticise Garth Nix for. And that is such fun. I don't know when I'll get it, but probably not for at least a fortnight. *sigh*

I must go and see Muirs tommorow to get a copy. Sounds interesting, and it definately adds to my WILL IS EVIL, theroy. How is Arthur 6th precedent in the House? Sure he's the heir, but wouldn't that make him like a child of the Architect or something? Does it give any hints about Lady Friday?

Well, as I see it, First Lord Sunday, second is Superior Saturday, third is Lady Friday, Fourth is Sir Thursday, fifth is the Will, and Sixth is Arthur. Although, since the Will has 3 keys, it may be the first, or something. Also, Sir Thursday himself was really dissapointing. He seemed quite calm and reasonable to me, most of the time. He was almost likable.

What about the Piper, wouldn't he be one of first precedents seeing as he is the son of the Architect?

What about the Piper, wouldn't he be one of first precedents seeing as he is the son of the Architect? Perhaps. But I doubt it, as the Mariner is older than him. Besides, the Piper isn't counted, for reasons which I cannot divulge. The Mariner might be. Or maybe even the Old One. But I think it's the Will.

Sometimes stores just put books out early. I got the last Alex Rider book a few days before its release, to. Yeah, but I just thought it was strange that me, being an American, would get it early. But the book was supposed to come out around the same time in the U.S. as well, and it sounds like I didn't get it early, so...er, I think there was originally a point to this. Ah well. I agree that Sir Thursday didn't seem so bad. It might have had something to do with the fact that his sin was alluded to every 20 pages. That got old fast.

Well, I have obtained and read Sir Thursday - appropriately enough, for me it's a Thursday at the moment. Hm, I agree with some complaints here - Sir Thursday the character was particularly disappointing, particularly when he was introduced - but I enjoyed some of the information that was revealed, quite possibly more than the actual plot of the book itself. It's pretty much confirmed a few theories that I've had for a while. Hm. Now, I wonder what Lady Friday will bring?

I've read 76pages of it so far. That was at the bookstore though. I didnt have money on me to buy it, so I guess i have to wait for it to come to my local library. It seemed interesting, but I think that I might have to reread the first book again, I forgot a ton of stuff.
