Oh this just sucks. All the other book we had to wait a year for, now we must wait another 7 months. I hope this one is worth it.

Yeah, well, it probably won't come out for another six months after that in the U.K., judging from Drowned Wednesday.
Fake Edit: I just looked it up. According to Amazon.co.uk, we get it in April - but I bet that it'll either be pushed back, or that'll be the wrong cover.
PJ, do you still have that plot synopsis for Thursday which I got from my copy of Wednesday? Because I don't want to have to type it up again.

I don't have a quotes document, or something like that. Looks like you'll have to write it up, again.

I don't have a quotes document, or something like that. I thought you once mentioned that you did... But I expected that you wouldn't have it. Well, looks like I've got some typing to do. On the fourth day, there was War!Following their adventures in the Border Sea, Arthur and Leaf head for home. But only Leaf gets through the Front Door. Arthur is blocked because someone - or something - has assumed his identity and is taking over his life. Before Arthur can take action, he is drafted by Sir Thursday and forced to join the Glorious Army of the Architect. The Army has its headquarters in the Great Maze, a defensive area of the House. Half of the Maze has already been dissolved by Nothing, and hordes of Nithlings emerge regularly to attack the rest. If the Nithling invasion can overcome the Army and the Great Maze, the House will be lost and the whole universe with it.While Leaf tries to banish Arthur's doppelgänger on earth, Arthur must survive his basic training, avoid getting posted to the Front and work out how he can free Part Four of the Will, and gain the Fourth Key from Sir Thursday. If the latest, strongest and most dangerous Nithling offensive doesn't break through first...

Where did you get that from? My copy has nothing at the end! Ah well.
The plot line sounds good. If I'm correct the next sin that will be shown is Anger. From there I'm guessin Lady Friday will be Lust, then Superior Saturday will be Envy, and finally Lord Sunday would be Pride. I don't know about the keys though. Maybe a mirror for Friday but for the others I'm not sure. Any ideas?

Where did you get that from? My copy has nothing at the end! Ah well. Hahaha, finally England gets something good. Me and PJ speculated on this very thoroughly a long time ago. I'm too lazy to relate most of it, but we reckoned that Thursday's key would be a shield, that all of the keys might combine into some sort of super-key when all brought together, I think we agreed that Sunday has the Something-or-other Gardens and that he spends most of his time there, dreaming (since, according to Drowned Wednesday, while Saturday handles the day-to-day running of the house, Sunday's mind "dwells on loftier matters.") I think we agreed with you about the sins. I also speculated that the Will was evil (on the basis that all three parts have had some negative character flaw, and that it advised Arthur not to trust Wednesday when she actually turned out to be a good person), while PJ (I think) thought that the Will would become the Architect when complete.

I agree with the evil will theroy, seeing as the will seems to be incredible bossy. Dame Primus (or Secondus or whatever she refers to herself as) appears to be a nice woman when she is in a human from, but I'm not sure. That carp seemed a little sinister. As for another theroy regarding them, I do think it would seem correct that each part of the will has a bit of the previous book's sin in them (e.g. the frog seemed a bit proud, the bear was lazy, and the carp; well I wouldn't call him greedy, but he did seem a bit wanting at times.). So I'm assuming the the next part of the Will will be hungry a lot, always asking for food.

Dante, I believe that we agreed that Saturday was Pride and Sunday was Envy. I think. And yeah, future possible keys: -Shield (for Thursday) -Helmet -Belt -Spurs? -Breast-Plate? -Shoes?
Also, having one of the lieutenants (Dawn, Noon and Dusk) ruling a house would be pretty cool. Or maybe there's some cool twist, or something. I wonder when we'll see the Piper? He's been mentioned from book 1, but we've never seen him..... And the connection of Sunday and the Piper and the Mariner.
We also discussed wether the third key will have power in Thursday's realm, or not. It's powers are probably diminished, or something, because otherwise it would be waaaay too easy. Unless he loses it, or something. Or is somehow prevented from using it.

I doubt if the power will be at full blast in The Great Maze, but I seeing as the First Key had some power in the Far Reaches without it even being there, I would say that Arthur is a t least Well equiped.

He'll be prevented from using it, then. I mean, with the Key, Arthur is basically invincible. Even with just half of the first key, Monday's goons couldn't get at him. So the Key'll be stolen, or he'll be afraid to use it in case it will alert Thursday that Arthur is there, or some other nifty plot device.

We have a cover (for the United States): The key appears to be a sword, if I'm not mistaken.
