FFWF should be back soon, unless he left. Why is this in crossy out-y writing?PJ when are you going to write more? *hint* I'm taking a break for the moment. Ennui should take over for the moment.... Maybe when FFWF returns. Luckily no one knows I killed Dante, and stole all his books, which is why he isn't on....MWAHAHAHAH! Oh wait, i'm typing this. Oops.Part VI is up. It's a short part, but it ends rather dramatically. I can PROMISE that the next few parts shall make up for any shortcomings the previous ones have. Behold: Part VI That night, the four volunteers gathered in the living room once more. A chair was brought forth, eerily floating from the kitchen, to Dante’s amusement. PJ still hadn’t gotten used to the strangeness of this place. Ennui sat down once more and shut his eyes. “I doubt he’ll find anything,” Antenora was whispering to PJ. “It’s unlikely to have more than one crime a week in this town.” Just when Dante was about to shake Ennui and tell him it was no use, he began to twitch again. Dante grabbed PJ’s hand, and shoved it onto Ennui’s head. “Are you getting a premonition?” He asked, eagerly. PJ closed his eyes, then opened them again. “Nope.” He said. Dante frowned. Ennui opened his eyes. “Someone is holding up a convenience store.” Five minutes later, a van pulled up outside a convenience store and four figures in trench coats hopped out. They stormed into the store. A man was standing there, holding a pistol in his hand, shouting at some poor woman to hand him her purse. About 4 people where being held at gun point by a crazed looking man wearing all black. He spun around and held his gun at them. “PUT YOUR HANDS UP!” He shouted. He had clearly been surprised. Antenora tensed. She would try to deflect any bullets coming their way. Dante relaxed. “You know, the authorities will eventually catch you,” He said. “What your doing is not only stupid, but your endangering other people at the same time. Now, normally, I wouldn’t mind if you hurt yourself, but hurting other people because of your stupidity? I really despise that.” “SHUT UP!” The man shouted, a wild look in his eyes. PJ grew worried. He could see that Dante was purposely antagonizing him, but to what purpose? “Someone is going to have to stop you. The police aren’t here, so someone else will have to do.” He glanced at Antenora. “I think I should be that person.” He took a step forwards. “DON’T MOVE!” The man shouted, waving his gun before him. “Can’t you shut up? There really is no need to be so loud. Now drop the gun and I won’t have to hurt you.” He took another step forward. The man looked confused, and angry. He was about to shout something, then he looked afraid. He looked deep into Dante’s eyes, and something within those endless pools of green frightened him. It frightened him more than anything he had ever seen before. Dante took another step forwards. The man took a step back. “I’ll shoot!” He said, stepping back some more. Dante took another step backwards. The man raised his gun, took aim, and fired. As he pulled the trigger, the gunpowder was ignited. But the bullet didn’t move. Antenora had focused her entire telekinetic energy upon it, and the bullet wouldn’t have budged had a bus driven into it at full speed. The pressure within the gun increased, and, as the bullet was held fast, it used the path of weakest resistance. The gun simply exploded. The man shouted, the burning hot metal glued to his hand. He wouldn’t be shooting any guns with that hand anymore. In fact, he would probably do little with it at all. It was then that Dante made his move. His fist connected with the side of the ruffian’s head, and he titled to one side, dazed. Ennui connected with his mind sent a feeling of pure malevolence towards him. The man collapsed into a heap, unconscious. Ennui could do a lot of damage to one's mind. Antenora sprang behind the counter, grabbed the phone, and called the police. After giving directions, she grabbed PJ by the collar and dragged him towards the exit. “Let’s go,” she said. “Well, let’s hope we taught him a lesson,” Dante muttered in the Smart Mobile. Perhaps that is why he had antagonized the man beforehand, so as to teach him a lesson. PJ shuddered, as he recalled the look of horror that he had seen on the man’s face. He had looked into Dante’s eyes, and had seen no mercy at all. “PJ, do you have any idea why you didn’t have a premonition?” Ennui asked, whilst driving. “I have no idea. They seem to come at random, or when I come into contact with certain objects. Maybe there was nothing important to see?” Ennui simply said “Hmmm…” Dante suddenly spoke up. “Who determines when he gets his premonitions anyways? How come he only gets them sometimes? I mean, so far, every time he has gotten one, it has proved useful. So it can’t be random. I wonder…” Antenora smirked. “Maybe it’s god.” Dante scoffed. “IF there even is a god, I’m pretty sure he has better things to do than to send PJ visions. What, are you saying he’s some kind of prophet?” PJ looked alarmed. He hadn’t thought of that before. Perhaps all the famous prophets had been like him… Antenora smiled. “Perhaps,” She said, a secretive smile on her face. Dante raised an eyebrow. Nothing more was said. The van was parked securely in the hidden garage. Nothing of much import happened that night. They all went to bed, satisfied that they had made the world a better place, although PJ felt kind of guilty, as he had not done anything to capture the criminal. Little did they know the tragedy that would strike them on the next day, the tragedy that would reduce their number back to three. They had no idea of the woe and destruction that would begin tomorrow. All except for PJ, who had dreams of terror and death…and lots and lots of fire.

Good going. If I die, though, lots of people have to go with me... Like the malevolence... Oh, you won't die just yet....I have something else in store for you... (evil cackle) And here it is, Part VII! Part VII When PJ awoke that morning, he knew something was wrong. As he munched half-heartedly on his cereal, he wondered what it was. Something was out of place. Something bad had either happened, was currently happening, or would soon happen. He was silent during breakfast. While the others read books and chatted with one another, he went downstairs and checked the news on the internet. Nothing. There was a small mention of the robbery last night, and of the fire the night before, but nothing else. He typed “Drogue” into a search engine, and found nothing. He somehow knew that this Drogue was part of this bad feeling. Suddenly, he remember the file he had seen. He reopened the file, and typed the password in. He double clicked the file, and suddenly his vision blurred once more. Another vision. Ennui stood still, underneath some tree, with his hands in the air. Three men surrounded him and where aiming nasty-looking rifles at him. One of the men fired, and a projectile hit Ennui in the neck. He crumpled. The men quickly grabbed him and dragged him into a van, which promptly drove off.PJ sat up. Ennui was in grave danger. He dashed upstairs, and, to his horror, found only Dante and Antenora there. “Where’s Ennui?” He shouted. The two looked up. “He sensed some old women crying about her cat stuck in a tree. He’s helping her now. We figured we didn’t need second-sight in this particular case.” Dante said. “He’s in grave danger!” PJ shouted, his arms waving frantically. Dante and Antenora stood. “Let’s use the Smart Mobile, it will be faster!” Dante shook his head. “Use your brain, PJ, Ennui is the only one who can drive it.” “That doesn’t matter! We need to go now!” PJ shouted frantically. “Ennui sensed this old lady without even searching for her, so she must be pretty close. We will walk.” He said. PJ dashed to the secret entrance. “Or run,” Dante added. Once they where outside, Antenora said “Let’s split up, we will find him quicker.” They all nodded. “Three guys will shoot him in the neck and drag him off! Be careful!” PJ shouted and then they split up. Meanwhile, Ennui was crossing a field, in order to help this old lady with her cat. As he passed under a tree, he felt the presence of someone. He spun around just as three men dropped from the tree. They where all armed. “Put your hands up!” The leader shouted. Ennui slowly raised his hands. He had been led into a trap! The three men where dressed in black, and their rifles looked mean. “Try anything funny and our sniper will take you out.” Ennui looked down and saw a red dot on his chest. Oh oh. A moment later he detected the sniper’s presence. He was standing up on a tall building a bit away. If he did anything he was trapped. He frantically began to mentally call for his comrades. PJ, a few hundred meters away, skidded to a halt. He heard a faint calling. As you know, he was more susceptible to the mind-speak, and was the only one to hear it. It was coming from that park over there… “Dante! Antenora!” He shouted at the top of his voice. Dante smashed through a bush to one side and Antenora came running from the other. “He’s up ahead!” PJ shouted and the three volunteers ran forwards. They burst through some bushes and the three men turned and saw them running across the field. “ Sniper on the roof!” Ennui warned. “I’ll take care of it!” She shouted, and Dante and PJ continued running across the field. One of the men raised his rifle, and shot a dart into Ennui’s neck. He crumpled a moment later, but not before causing the one who had shot him extreme mental anguish. The man fell to his knees, unconscious. One soldier grabbed Ennui, and began to drag him towards a white van, not unlike the Smart Mobile, which was waiting by the roadside. Dante roared and two fireballs exploded from his hands, heading at the man. The other soldier fired his rifle, and a dart pierced Dante’s neck. A queer expression came across the red-head’s face, and he managed to make the fireballs explode before he collapsed. The two burning spheres had been near the soldier dragging Ennui, and the explosion set his cloak on fire. He shouted and dropped Ennui, and began to bat the flames on his back. PJ crouched low and took the dart out of Dante’s neck, just as he heard another gun shot. Another dart sped towards him, but, curiously, stopped an inch before his neck. Antenora dashed beside PJ, and shouted in anger. Her telekinesis blasted forwards, catching the fleeing soldier who had fired at them. He was blasted forwards, and he smashed into the side of the van. Then she bent down and began to examine Dante. Two men jumped out of the van and dragged Ennui inside. “No!” PJ shouted and ran towards them. They grabbed their fallen comrades and dragged them into the van as well. The van started to move as PJ caught up, and he started banging on the windows, running alongside it, until it sped up and escaped. PJ, out of breath, returned to Antenora, who was holding Dante. “He’s just unconscious, and-” she was cut short by another gun shot. She whirled around and the dart bounced off an invisible shield. Antenora gazed up at the building where the sniper stood. “You!” She shouted. “I thought I’d dealt with you…” She waved her hand and the man shouted as he was shoved off the building. He sped down many stories, screaming, and came to an abrupt halt, just before he hit the ground. He screamed as he was yanked backwards, towards the three volunteers. He landed in a heap in front of them, unconscious. Now they had a prison. “I lost the van…” PJ said. A painful expression was on his face. They had not only lost the van, they had lost Ennui. Note: SUCKED IN, ENNUI! But don't you worry. Can you imagine how angry Dante will be when he wakes up? Needless to say, at least one building will be reduced to ashes, and probably quite a few people as well.

Ha. Love it, I must say...and I would fall for that too...as long as there's a cat involved... Yes, and with my penchant for drama and destruction, what could be more fitting, than for Dante, Antenora and PJ to storm Drogue's factory-like fortress? The whole world should tremble before their power. As it is, I'll make sure Drogue, at least, does. Edit: VIII and IX are done. I shall post them in the morning. Their pretty lonh. VIII is teh sex. No joke, it roxes hard.I've enjoyed writing it more than anyghing else. I hope that will sustain you for the next 5 days where I shall be gone.... At least there will be suspense. I think Part X will be the last...or perhaps XI. We shall see. Well, till the morning then!

This is a great story. If you enjoy writing it, that probably means it's good.
I just wish my pyrokinetic companion were here to read of his adventures.

It is great. You have to rescue Ennui.
Angry Dante, this is going to be a good next chapter.

My favourite part was where I frightened PJ by setting myself alight. I am so cool in this story. If I had pyrokinetic powers, I'd so totally be just like this.
I'm talking about swans in crossed-out writing. Aren't I subtle?

And here they are! You know, I KNEW Dante would be back on the day I have to go.... Well here is the destructive combo, VIII and IX. I have nothing more to say except for this: Enjoy
Part VIII
That evening, the three remaining members of the Volunteers Fighting Crime interrogated the prisoner. Dante had recovered completely, and had barely contained his temper at losing Ennui. He took it personally that he had been shot. It had taken his entire will not to simply burst into flames and burn anything around him. He entered the storage room, where the prisoner was tied to a chair, glared at him for a moment and then said “Tell us what you want to know, or I’ll burn your legs off.“ Dante stared into his eyes. The guard cracked a moment later. Apparently, he had been sent by Drogue to capture the telepath with the dark hair. That’s all I know, I swear!” Dante had nodded, and motioned for PJ and Antenora to leave the room. PJ heard a short, cut off scream and then silence. Antenora dragged him upstairs. He shuddered.
A moment later Dante joined them upstairs. They where going to have a council. “So…what do we do?” PJ finally said after a minute or so of silence. Dante was raging within. He looked deep into PJ’s and Antenora’s eyes. Then, without a waver in his voice, simply said: “We go out and get him.” Antenora took a step back. “What!” She shouted. “That’s suicide!” PJ looked puzzled. “We know where Drogue’s main operation is based. We haven’t actually entered it, or attacked it, because it has very tight security. But to rescue Ennui, I believe we should go in.”
Antenora stared at him in disbelief. “You’re insane! He’s probably already dead! If we go within one hundred meters of that place, our we will be gunned down!” Dante shook his head. “Ennui isn’t dead. If they wanted him dead, they would have killed him. But they drugged him, just as they drugged me. No, Drogue wants him alive. For the moment, at least. The last thing he will be expecting is for us to charge in there and save him. Besides, without Ennui, this operation is useless. How will we find crimes? The old-fashioned way? I don’t think so.” Antenora seemed speechless. “I’m up for it.” PJ chimed in. Dante stared at him in disbelief. “You do know that we will all probably die.” PJ nodded. “I’m rather curious as to what happens after death. I’m not afraid. I’ll go with.” Antenora sighed. “You’re both crazy! How will you even get INTO that place?” Dante smiled. “I’m sure we can manage.”
The plan, as it where, was extremely crazy. Antenora and Dante would create “distractions” and PJ would sneak into the place, and try to pick up Ennui’s location. Then, if possible, the three would re-group and pick him up. PJ was rather surprised, as he was given one of the main parts of the mission. Dante handed him a pistol, and PJ reluctantly took it, and stuck it into his pocket. “I’m not going to kill anyone.” He said. Dante nodded. “Good. Try to hit them in the kneecaps, then.”
And so it started. The Smart Mobile was parked near the factory which Drogue inhabited. They would have to walk the rest of the way. It was a huge complex. Guards patrolled the edges of the enormous rectangle, and PJ wanted to give up straight away. But the others continued on, and so did he. He was surprised at how quickly they had decided to do this. They had virtually no preparation at all. It was suicide. But hey, PJ thought, if he was going to die, it might as well be for the good of the people.
PJ crept up to the fence that circled the whole place. He reached into his backpack- he wasn’t completely unprepared- and he pulled out a wire cutter. He made quick work of it, and he crawled in. Now he had to wait for Dante and Antenora to “distract” the guards. According to them, he would know when to go in. He looked straight ahead, and saw a door clearly illuminated by the lights that covered the entire complex. He could also see masses of guards. He shuddered. So many things could go wrong….
Meanwhile, Dante and Antenora where beginning to “distract” the guards. I have seen many amazing things in my life. I have seen a headless man walk. I have seen a metal hoop leave it’s owners hand, circle him a few times, then return to his hand, and I have seen an inanimate electronic object activate itself. But I simply cannot imagine what happened that night. There are no words great enough to describe it, so you will have to do with what I can provide.
Dante and Antenora had passed the fences on the opposite sides of one another, with PJ directly in the middle. It was then that they struck. First, Antenora closed her eyes. Her mind reached out to the factory that harboured so much evil. Then she opened her eyes. Her mind was completely ready. She then stood. And she began to walk towards the factory. When she was halfway there, the first guard saw her. “Hey!” He shouted. “Put your hands in the air!” Antenora ignored him, and continued walking. On any other day, she would have knocked him out before he had even seen her, but that wasn’t the point. He raised his rifle. “FREEZE!” He shouted, aiming. Antenora continued on her way. The guard then opened fire. The deadly hail of bullets simply reflected off Antenora, for she had encased herself in pure telekinetic energy. Basically, a bullet-proof wall. Another guard opened fire, and the bullets simply whizzed off her. A third guard came running, and began to shoot too. A grenade bounced next to her, and it detonated, leaving her completely unharmed.
Antenora moved her hand, as if swatting a fly, and one of the guards was hurled backwards, into the brick wall. He smashed through it. Twice more she swatted, and twice more the guard where hurled through the wall. All the while Antenora kept advancing towards the building. She finally reached the wall, when a fourth guard came around the corner and opened fire. Antenora sent him flying way up, so he crashed through the roof a moment later. She then placed her hands on the wall and closed her eyes. This was just a warm-up. Now it was time for the real thing.
Antenora had never found reason to fully use her telekinetic power, and over the years it had grown. So she wasn’t entirely sure how much damage she could do. But she estimated that she would do quite a bit. The next moment, a telekinetic ripple extended outwards. For a moment, there was silence. Then the wall cracked.
It simply broke open, and collapsed. Antenora shouted as the pieces of brick rained down upon her, bouncing off her, and she blasted her power into the factory that had stolen her friend. The ground rippled and quaked. The walls bulged and cracked. Everything slid about. A boom echoed across the suburb, awaking people and alarming the guards. A squad ran around the corner and Antenora hurled them this way and that. Never in the history of the world had one person single-handedly caused so much destruction. The entire factory shook before her wrath. Within a solitary cell Ennui sat, new hope growing within him. He began to call to his friends with his mind-speak, but the drugs that he had been fed weakened him, and he doubted they would hear him.
But that was only Antenora. Now we come to Dante. Dante wasn’t immune to bullets, so he had to go about things more carefully. He had spied on the guards, then he had gone back over the fence, to a save distance. Then he closed his eyes, and summoned together his strength. Like Antenora, he had never really used his skills to their full extent, and they where quite great indeed. Twin columns of fire erupted from his hands, and, like snakes they slithered through the air and struck the wall. Dante made them grow outwards as they struck the wall, so the entire wall literally exploded. Burning bricks rained down upon the poor guardsmen. Dante ran forwards, hands held high, and he called fire down from the heavens. Spheres of flames began to rain down and he melted the fence and walked forwards.
A wave of fire blasted into the wall, and like a huge flamethrower, Dante blasted fire into the factory whilst Antenora, on the other side, blasted her power at it. Fire swarmed across the building, soon spreading quickly. Dante ran through the flames, laughing at the marvellousness of it all. A continuous wall of pure fire pulsed outwards from him. Fire surrounded him and burnt the very walls down, as he travelled towards the centre of the building, smashing through walls. Falling bricks disintegrated before they could hit him. He was completely indestructible.

Wasn't that exhilirating (sp?)? It was to write it. Here is the next part:
Part IX
And now, I ask you to cast your eyes into the past, during the time Ennui was first brought into his cell. Why I do this, I have no idea. Perhaps so that Ennui’s fate is unknown during the beginning of Part IIX, or perhaps so that the incredible destruction within it wouldn’t be dampened by his experience. Well, here goes:
Ennui awoke within his cell. It was a normal sized room, with a comfortable bathroom with a shower. The cell itself had a small bed and a television in it. However evil Drogue was, he knew how to treat his guests. He felt weak. He suspected he had been given some kind of drug that would sap his strength, and diminish his mental powers. He staggered to the door and found it locked. Big surprise. He staggered back and fell onto his bed. He tried expanding his mind, but he couldn’t even pass the walls of his cell. Moments before he had been shot, he had seen his companions…perhaps they would save him? He doubted it. They had long debated over attacking this fortress, and they had decided it was suicidal. No, the only way out for Ennui would be one he made for himself. Then the door opened.
Drogue entered the room alone. The Drogue. He was wearing a long black trench coat, black leather pants and a cool black shirt. His hair was black. Black leather gloves covered his hands. He looked very imposing. His eyes, however, where a frosty blue colour. “My dear Ennui, you have no idea how glad I am to see you again.” He said, smiling. Ennui recoiled on his bed. This evil, evil man was what he had been fighting against ever since he had been a volunteer. He tried to read the man’s mind, but he was gifted, so it was impossible. “You may be wondering why you aren’t dead. Or why you of all people where chosen.” Ennui shrugged, trying not to hide his fear. This man might seem polite at the moment, but Ennui knew of the terrible things he was capable of.
“Dante’s and Antenora’s gifts are useful, but they can easily be replaced. An army of soldiers can do what they can just as well. But you, my dear Ennui, have an even greater gift. You can read minds! Do you have any idea how valuable that would be to my work?” Ennui said nothing. Drogue continued. “I offer you a choice now. Join me, and you will have wealth, and power. I can even spare your friends if you want.” Ennui spat on the floor. “I’d rather die than even consider being allies with you.” He said venomously. Drogue smiled. “I thought you might say that. Now, you probably think I’ll kill you. That is not so. There are other ways to harness your gifts…” Ennui laughed. “If you think you can threaten to hurt my friends, you are wrong. They would rather die than see me working for you.” Drogue smiled once more. “That too, I already knew. No, I was speaking of another way of persuasion. You see, one of the many things I deal in are mind-controlling drugs.”
Ennui stiffened. This was not good. “One injection of a certain serum will make you obey any commands you receive for a temporary time.” Ennui seemed confused. “Then why not use those drugs to determine the truth rather than use me?” “Well, for one, you can read minds without having to inject someone with something. Imagine me trying to inject a politician, or some other powerful member of this society, with some mind-control drug. Using you is much easier. And,” He said, grinning, “These drugs are rather unstable. They have some rather…negative side-effects.” Ennui fought to keep his face still. He mustn’t show fear. “My friends will get me back. You just wait. They will tear this damn place down.” Drogue laughed. “I doubt that. If you could, I suspect you already would have done so. Now, I will leave you here, and give you your choice. Either join me voluntarily, or be pumped full of unstable drugs. You choose.” He stood and left the cell, leaving Ennui with a horrible decision to make.
Meanwhile, back in the future, PJ heard the incredible noise his two comrades where making. A few seconds ago, the remaining guards had run off to investigate. It was now or never. He took a breath, and sprinted towards the door, crouched down. He grabbed the door knob, and a vision filled his eyes. He saw a guard ripping open the door! He jumped aside just as the door opened and he hid behind the door. The guard ran away from the door, his back to PJ. PJ exhaled, and grabbed the door. He wasn’t letting it close in case it had one of those self-locking things. He then entered the complex.
He was in some kind of factory. So much was clear. He looked around, and saw no one approaching. Luckily, Antenora had attacked the electronic box of the factory, and the power was out, so the cameras that where stationed everywhere didn’t see him. At least the generator kept the lights going. PJ dashed deeper into the factory. He walked down long, narrow passageways, dodging staff and security guards. PJ came to a two large, white, double doors, and he opened them and snuck inside the room. A tall man dressed entirely in black spun around and stared at him. “Oh oh…”
Drogue was surprised. A teenager had just barged in on him. It didn’t last long. PJ stood still, when a lightning bolt blasted from Drogue’s hand and struck PJ. He was thrown across the room, where he lay on the floor, twitching. “Who the hell are you, boy?” Drogue asked, putting his foot on PJ’s chest. PJ couched and looked up. “My name is PJ.” He said. Drogue took his foot off. “Why are you here, PJ?” Drogue asked, his fake pleasant manner taking over. PJ looked him straight in the eye and said nothing. He suspected he was about to be killed. “Tell me why you are here, PJ, or I will slowly fry you to your death.” PJ shuddered. Oh well, this man seemed to be Drogue. There would be no harm in telling him who had sent him. He was about to find out, when his factory would start falling apart.
“My name is PJ. I am a member of Volunteers Fighting Crime! Now release Ennui, or we will be forced to do something drastic!” Drogue was, for the second time since meeting PJ, surprised. “What? You’re part of VFC? I have no record of anyone looking like you!” Then he composed himself. “It matters not. Ennui will stay here, and so will you, until I find out what gift you have. Besides, what drastic actions might you commit?” He asked, jeeringly. PJ smiled sweetly. “I have a feeling that you will soon find out.” He said, a grin on his face. Something about that grin worried Drogue. “What do you mean?” PJ grinned, as the entire factory heaved to one side with a huge cracking noise. Drogue fell over, completely surprised, and PJ took the opportunity to punch him in the face. Very hard. He then turned and ran, before Drogue could do anything.
An alarm began to ring, and a red light began to flash. PJ turned a corner…and stopped. “ h e l p”. He thought he heard something faint. “Help.” Ennui! “I’m coming!” he thought back. He now knew exactly where Ennui was. Now he had to find either Dante or Antenora…
He ran past a ladder. He skidded to a halt. If he could climb up, he might get a better view of the place. He started climbing up the ladder, when everything seemed to grow warmer. He continued climbing and glanced down. One of the walls seemed to be acting strangely. It was glowing. Dante! The wall began to melt into a red hot heat of slop, and fire burst through the hole. PJ had a bad feeling about this. A red-hot ball of fire slowly appeared, and at the centre a dark figure could be seen. It was Dante! And if he didn’t stop, he would burn PJ into a crisp!
Dante was slowly walking forwards, seemingly unaware of his surroundings. He was simply enjoying himself enormously, burning the whole place down. PJ looked around wildly, and saw his salvation. Dante continued onwards, and the metal support under PJ’s legs began to grow warm. He ran towards a huge metal container. It was the water tank that led to the fire-safety sprinklers. But since there was no electricity…there was no water. PJ grabbed the enormous tap and began to turn it slowly. It was stuck! Dante was almost beneath him now, and PJ could smell his shoes beginning to melt. The metal catwalk was too hot to touch. With a shout, the valve opened, and a mass of water squirted down, straight onto the fiery Dante.
The water that came first evaporated before it came anywhere near him, but the water after that reached farther and farther, so that the water began to fall, very slowly, but surely. Then it hit him. The shield of fire around him went out, and the remaining water hit him. Hard. His spine would have snapped, had Antenora not directed the majority of the water off him. The metal catwalk supporting PJ also fell in that moment, and she also caught PJ. The two teenagers lay on the floor, next to one another. Dante looked at PJ, and smiled. “Yo.” He said. PJ laughed. “I know where Ennui is.” PJ replied. Antenora smiled too.

I've been extinguished. How humiliating.
Oh well. At least I was basically a fire god during those two parts. I love my character so much.

PJ would rather humiliate you than have himself killed, and you not humilitated. Though it would have been interesting to see whether Antenora could stop you....
