Fortune because then I can buy stuff. Who cares if you are well known when you can be rich?

Neither. Fame is good if you like having wackos have pictures of you on an alter. (And most likely in a scope) And fourtune is just money, which if you have alot of gives you no chalenge in life, no goals.

Fame only lasts as long as you can keep people entertained. So fortune.

Fame and fortune go together sometimes, it would be more likely that if anything I'd get both because to just get money you probably have to do something invovling hard work or knowledge. I'd rather just be rich though.

Fortune. Nobody deserves to know who I am. Just kidding.

Well, if you're rich, then there are chances that you could be famous too, because you're rich. But you could be famous for being a criminal whose not rich at all. So wealth is probably the better answer.

I'd rather be known as a fortune-seeker than an unknown aristocrat. I want an interesting life, with what adventure and fun I can find. I don't want them to just be gentlemen pursuits.

fame. not celebrity famous either. I'd want to be a famous lawyer and well known and credited.

I'd rather have the wealth. I like nice things. This way I could actually live in the French manor that my friend and I have picked out.

Fortune! Fortune! I want to be rich more than anything else in the world. If I had enough money, I could have anything I want. If anybody ever tells you that money doesn't bring you happiness - thate person isn't rich.

Although I'm not hugely greedy, I choose fortune over fame. I don't want to be famous at all, as I'd have no privacy, and little time alone. Being an unknown, reclusive, filthy rich person would be pretty fun. Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy all sorts of things that...contribute to happiness. I just can't phrase things well today.
Edit: Money can't buy new-page syndrome.
