He wouldn't be Olaf if he wasn't terrible at stealing fortunes, after all.

He wouldn't be Olaf if he wasn't terrible at stealing fortunes, after all. Or are the Baudelaires just good at outwitting him?

Ahh yes! An interesting question arises! I think its a mix of Olaf's stupidity (even though he can be pretty smart) and the children being too intelligent for their own good. Olaf should have hired a professional.

Pros: 1.Monty and Josephine, perfect casting. 2.The locations. 3.Hurricane Herman. 4.The acting from the kids. 5.The soundtrack. 6.The Last Chance general store. 7.The opening scene with the Littlest Elf. 8.Even though it’s not in the book, I liked the letter scene. Cons: 1.Sandwiching TRR and TWW between the two halves of TBB rather than afterward. 2.Olaf is too comedic. 3.No Anxious Clown/peppermints(although it would’ve contrasted with the colour palette of the rest of the film)or Zombies in the Snow. 4.The train scene felt completely random. 5.Klaus not wearing glasses. 6.The pacing 7.It was too short.
