BSam's 20,00th post was July 20th, 2006. (After this he seems to have stopped using that account, so that the score stands for ever in witness of his achievement.)

It may not be accurate, but I think karma was introduced June 2005. It has been abolished and re-introduced several times since then.
EDIT:
Maybe ADR forgot about the member of the year.

EDIT: Maybe ADR forgot about the member of the year. That seems likely, but properly the MOTY voting happens after the end of the year in question, so Tragedy should have been back in charge. I guess everyone was just too shaken to think about it. April 16th 2008 - first summer book club launched.

(Oh, it was posted in MMisc. That's why we missed it.)
Linda, will hyperlinks be included in the timeline?

(Oh, it was posted in MMisc. That's why we missed it.) Linda, will hyperlinks be included in the timeline? I'm not sure; I will try to, but it might be difficult to include hyperlinks and also keep things visually organized. If I can figure out a way I will.

Research is often difficult because it#s hard to know what section something will be in. If only Dewey were here! Wow! 667 as it was in its distant youth. Who was here then? Tragedy, obviously. BSam, I believe. Anyone else? BSam is the only old member still active of whom I'm aware. Edit: "Old" as in "pre-667," that is. I've actually found two more. Sora's registration date is the date of 667's foundation - the only person apart from Tragedy of whom this is true, I think. (I believe BSam was here from the start, but his currently active accounts start later.) VKSB also has a registration date before the name change. So it looks like we have five members from the earliest days still with us.

I hadn't realized there were so many, since the question has been asked before and the answer is often the same. I'm dubious about registration dates, though; Triangle Eyes has hers at 1970, for instance. Then there are those with multiple accounts, like cwm and JTB, who have been registered longer than their registration dates would suggest.

. I'm dubious about registration dates, though; Triangle Eyes has hers at 1970, for instance. Hm, I wonder how she managed that. VKSB certainly has posts going back that far, though cwm seems to have arrived just a couple of days after the change, which means he is a latecomer, like the rest of us.

But that's still very long ago.

Sora's registration date is actually a proboards glitch, according to this, he joined September 2003. How on earth did you find that? But if we're using the name change as the mark of ancientness, not quite long ago enough. So it looks as if in fact we have just four members from the earliest days. Which is still more than I had expected. cwm seems to have arrived just a couple of days after the change, which means he is a latecomer, like the rest of us. I'm not sure what change to which you're referring? He first registered in 2003, but the account we know dates only to 2008. The change of name. I'm not going by his current account details; his 'hello' post is in Awfully Ancient Archives, and it comes something like four days after the change.

Like Kensicle said, Sora's join date was changed by a glitch. Triangle Eyes and Gigi also both had their join dates changed to 1970 in a separate glitch; if I remember right Gigi really joined in late 2004 and TE in early 2006. Edit: I've been playing around with design and here's what I have so far. As you can see there's the problem of the line in the middle not being continuous and not being centered on lines that have other writing, but I've made a help request at the proboards support board and am waiting to see what they have to say.
