What? We weren't always called 667 Dark Avenue? Well I never! What were we called before the change? The linked thread says LSIF, but what does that stand for? I'm surprised by how short the reign of ADR was, given the immense impact it seems to have had on everyone who lived through it. I think that should be 'identity'. (I originally read it as 'density', which was very confusing.) April 2006 - censors introduced. asoue.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=jock&thread=13130&page=1

I stand to be corrected on this, but I think it was the Lemony Snicket's Informer Forums. We were associated with a website by the name of Lemony Snicket's Informer on Geocities, but that's long gone now. This was before my time, though.

Wow! 667 as it was in its distant youth. Who was here then? Tragedy, obviously. BSam, I believe. Anyone else? I've always been a bit puzzled that '667' isn't in the url - now we know why. There've been a lot of rearrangements over the years - though actually that archived copy from our earliest days shows a lot of the structure we know already emerging. And on the theme of popular threads: April 6th 2006 - Post Your Picture begins.

Edit: "Old" as in "pre-667," that is. Maybe it's best to say "The BBooks are rearranged in honor of Snicket's upcoming series." I wasn't able to find dates for the addition of the Darkies board and other omissions/additions, although I know they exist. For instance, "Our Wicked World" used to be "Our Weary World," or something along those lines (before Weary Writer), I believe. Actually, I'm aware the first Post Your Picture dates back much farther than that. But like Random Facts, there were a long string of them, so perhaps it's wise to include only the longest.

All dates have been added to the masterlist, the request list has been updated, and here are the new by-year totals: 2002 - 2 2003 - 9 2004 - 13 2005 - 27 2006 - 37 2007 - 26 2008 - 21 2009 - 22 2010 - 21 2011 - 17 2012 - 11

That's hilarious. Beware, Dante, he's out to get you!Um, should we put in the "Countess Violet incident" in April 2012, or is it taboo?

not taboo, but is it really significant?
mainly i want to talk down tragedys moment of glory.

Not really. But we might want to fill out more 2012 space.

Well, Linda's original request did include moments of drama. A couple have been listed, but I'm sure there are several equally important ones that haven't. The CV incident has been the most dramatic moment recently (though I guess there's also the 'remove Tragedy' event). A lot of our dramatic moments seem to involve people called Violet.
I don't think ensuring balance between years should be seen as too important, though; if more interesting things happened in some years than others, it's fair that the timeline should reflect that.

I think the 2012 account is allowed to be short when the anniversary is being planned to provide much of its material, and when 2012 will only be halfway through by the time of the anniversary anyway.
