I think the important thing is to stay spoiler free. There may be some newbies around at this time, so we should respect them,
Newbies will, undoubtedly. increase with the second season and/or any appearance of 667 itself.

Of course, bearing in mind the possibility of newbies unfamiliar with the series, are we going to remain sensitive to spoilers from the books? Are we to be as cautious about citing details from The End as we would be about details from Episode 8, were we only in a thread for Episodes 5-6? I dare say there is common practice established in online discussions about other recent television adaptations of lengthy series of books.

I think we should warn (via banner or whatever) that the forum is dark and full of spoilers.
What I've seen in other places is having two threads: one for the post-episode discussion and another for the post-episode discussion with spoilers from the books/comics/manga/whatever the original format is. I think this is not necessary here, but maybe using spoiler tags? Idk.

I think the two threads idea works well. OR, if we even have two BOARDS: one sub-board for discussing the TV show in relation to the whole series, and another for discussing it as it appears. That way, we can still talk about it ep by ep.
Like, I suggest we turn Atrocious Adaptations into like Troublesome TV Show or something and let that be the MAIN board. Have a thread for each episode. Make sure spoilers are tagged, and that we ONLY discuss things revealed in the TV show. Then add a secondary sub board where those of us who want can talk about the episodes in the same way, but we DON'T tag spoilers and we DO WHATEVER WE WANT.

If I can find the time and energy to arrange it (which is to say, talk my parents into arranging it for me), I might just go all in and make this a culinary experience; binging and eating simultaneously, though not necessarily binge eating. My ideal menu would involve coconut cake for the TRR episodes and a bowl of peppermint snacks for TWW. If only the Pasta Puttanesca were in TMM, it would probably be well-timed for dinner. Oh, well, guess it's pasta for breakfast, then.

It actually works very well, but it starts with dinner (Pasta Puttanesca) in TBB, followed by dessert (Coconut cake) in TRR, breath mints (pepppermint) for TWW, and lots of chewing gum for TMM.

If it's there I've got to see it! All I had time for was 1-4 tonight. Unfortunately won't get a chance tomorrow but will definitely be watching 5-8 on Sunday. Probably best not to watch it all at once anyway. Gives you time to take it in

I watched the whole thing today. the last 2 episodes were my favourites, finally adapting TMM to the screen. I'm definetely going to rewatch it over the next few days while also rereading the books to see if i catch any more foreshadowing or freeze-frame bonuses or easter egss, or allusions of any kind. ASoUE-netflix has been a really nice surprise specially given my former concerns.

I thought I would binge but I ended up falling asleep! Not because of the quality of the show, but because it's been a very no-sleep week with drama at work. So it looks like I'll be pacing myself after all.

After having TMM on in the background while I was drying my hair this afternoon, I realised how much I had missed or hadn't noticed on my binge yesterday. So the next time I watch the entire show, I really have to pace myself. An associate of mine was right. Binge watching was NOT a good idea. XD

Will probably be binge watching it to not waste my precious Netflix subscription. I'm going to take a loan from my Mom to pay for a one-month (Dollars are precious man!). Then I'll watch The Queen too. But I'm thinking about pirating it, but I also want to watch it as soon as possible!

I watched the first 4 after work, with frequent pausing to fangirl, rewatch parts so I could hear the exact wording, post quotes on social media, and read the fangirling and fanboying that my friends were doing. I got home around 6 with some chinese food so I could eat while I watched, and it was nearly 1 by the time I finished. So as not to stay up all night I then went to bed, slept in nice and late to catch up on sleep I'd missed during the week, did a couple chores that I usually do on my day off, and am just about to start again at 1 pm.

I'm approaching it at a rate of two episodes a day, spaced out by a few hours. It's pretty comfortable pacing; I don't think I'd want to watch more than that per day, but I certainly don't want to watch less.

I'm going to watch one episode a week (not my idea), so I'll be even more annoying about the series than usual.

And the Baudelaire relationship with the Quagmires will be interesting too.
