I noticed that in the Unauthorized Autobiography and in the Beatrice Letters, she always makes these subtle insults towards Beatrice or Lemony. In her letter from the UA, she says "how content that young woman looks, don't you think? How content, and yet how flammable."
That was in reference to Beatrice's death. Beatrice was the love of Lemony's life, so why would R. say something that flippant? It just seems cruel.
And in the Beatrice Letters, R. says she got Lemony's letter to Beatrice by mistake and has this in her note to Beatrice: "Beatrice- This letter was mistakenly delivered to me. Clearly, the bats need better trainers! Hope you're well. - R"
So, since Beatrice is a bat trainer, then that's an insult towards her right? And it would make Lemony upset too.
I'm just wondering if this is significant or not. What would be the point of R. having animosity towards Beatrice or Lemony?

As I am not fluent in English, I can not understand where the offense is. Everything seems very normal to me, I'm sorry. But I don't think R who wrote the letters on LSTUA is the same person who wrote the note on TBL. The ways of writing the initial are different. Also, in the letter on TBL there is a mark of a moisture ring made by someone who is not noble, who has not properly used coasters in their drinks. So I think the "R" on TBL is an impostor, who eventually found out the relationship between Lemony and Beatrice through that letter.

Unless someone else was the trainer, and she was suggesting Beatrice should be the trainer. Maybe Beatrice was not training the bats because she was in the play with Bertrand, pretending to be a Baticeer. You could be right, though. Maybe she was not being nice. Although L seems very sympathetic to her when she loses her mother, like she is a close friend.

Or maybe there was an unrequited crush involved ... But we need to leave it to fanfics before Dante comes to complain to me.

Since this was a letter from Lemony to Beatrice, it would be the case that Lemony is the implied sub-par bat trainer in this instance, adopting the same mode of delivery as Beatrice but without her talent for it. However, the evidence of the coffee ring and the mistaken delivery also suggest the possibility that the letter was intercepted by Lemony and Beatrice's enemies, and sent to the wrong person in order to delay its arrival where it was meant to go.
