The following is a partial transcript of the videoconference meeting of the Volunteer Ferver Delegates, which took place in the month of Feb, xxxx. Some of those present had the same initial, which makes this transcript a little difficult to follow, but it doesn't matter.
B - Is the secretary already writing the Minutes?
J - Excuse me, I forgot to write the beginning of the meeting, so we will need to make the call again.
X - I don't think it will be necessary. Nobody's going to read this but us.
D - I think it's important to get straight to the point. This is a waste of time.
J - I agree.
S - I disagree. You cannot ignore the risks of the new coronavirus.
B - X, how many died in your country?
X - About three thousand people.
B - So, there are not that many after all.
E - How did it start?
X - We still don't know for sure.
D - I have volunteers who indicate that it all started at a factory in your country, X.
J - I always suspected you, X!
X - Do you have volunteers in my country, D? For what? I already have my own volunteers. In addition, they believe that the virus comes from some animals, such as the bat. And the last bats that arrived from abroad came from your country B.
B - But why do your people eat the organization's bats? You know we have volunteers who spend a lot of time training them.
X - Anyway, our volunteers managed to contain the proliferation of the virus. So there were only three thousand and a few deaths. But I don't think you are prepared for the virus in your countries.
D - Are you implying that your country is better than mine?
B - He didn't say that, D.
X - I want to say that people in my country deal with epidemics all the time. They know how to behave, and they know they must wear masks. And, it is the factories in our country that produce medical equipment for your countries.
B - I understand your point of view X. But I believe that it would be better to adopt another strategy. Are you familiar with the concept of herd immunization?
J - I understand a little about herds.
D - Who sent you to speak, J?
J - Excuse me, D.
B - If everyone gets infected with the corona-virus once and for all, then everyone will get antibodies quickly, so soon there won't be a pandemic or anything.
X - Wouldn't that be trying to fight fire against fire? Are you sure you are one of us?
(The meeting was disregarded).
