I very rarely eat beans burgers but I just had a look at the recipe and it sounds delicious so I might have to give them a go soon.
I realise I've eaten several bananas lately. I also did not take pictures of them, but I posted a photo of a banana a few pages back so that will have to do. The bananas have been good, my rating is: 10/13

I went slightly out of order this weekend, and there was a lot of squezing of citrus fruits going on. Tea and toast I had this for breakfast yesterday (and also a kiwi but that's not part of the tea and toast so it didn't make the picture). The tea was a loose leaf darjeeling which came from my advent calendar, and I added almond milk. I don't mind a cup of tea in the afternoon, but in the morning I'm definitely a coffee person. The toast was homemade bread made with half white flour and half wholemeal. The first piece was with apricot jam and the second one with crunchy peanut butter. It suffered a bit from edges-burnt-but-middle-hardly-toasted-syndrome, but was okay. 8/13 Homemade Lemonade I have never made lemonade before and it somehow tasted less lemony than I expected, even though I used more lemon juice and less sugar than most recipes said. Maybe the lemons could have been riper or just weren't great ones. It was still nice and refreshing though. 10/13 Muffins and freshly pressed orange juice These are my childhood favourite apple and cinnamon muffins which I haven't made for years, they are amazing. The orange juice was really nice too, just the right combination of sweet and sour. The oranges smelled lovely when I cut them open and it made me want to eat an actual orange so I have to get more. 13/13

Apple and cinnamon muffins sound amazing! Do you have a specific recipe you use for them?

I do, I can translate it
Ingredients: 2 medium sized apples 160g white flour 160g whole grain flour 1.5 tsp baking powder 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda 1.5 tsp cinnamon 2 eggs 80g sugar (I normally use brown) 125ml oil (I use sunflower) 310ml buttermilk or natural yoghurt 1tsp vanilla extract a bit of sugar and cinnamon
1. Peel the apples and cut them in pieces 2. Mix the flours, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and cinnamon in a bowl 3. Add the apples 4. Beat the eggs in another bowl and mix in the sugar, oil, buttermilk and vanilla extract 5. Combine the dry and wet ingredients 6. Put in muffin cases 7. Bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes 8. Immediately sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top

Thank you so much for the muffin recipe, I will definitely be trying that! The other night I made an omelette, which I had with potato salad and sautéed lettuce and peas. For the omelette I used: Two eggs Grated cheddar Several slivers of Snöfrisk Black pepper Mediterranean herb mix I was very pleased with it, the omelette was nice and fluffy, and very tasty. I used not to like omelettes but I think that's because my mum likes to use more cheese than I do, so when I started to make them for myself it was a delightful revelation. Rating: 11/13

Gum I had this in my mouth for about 5 minutes, of which I enjoyed maybe the first 15 seconds. I hate chewing gum. I'm too much of a saving the best for last kind of person, I enjoy things most when they increase in quality as they go on and need them to at least not decrease noticeably to enjoy them at all. Chewing gum is the exact opposite of that, you put it in your mouth and from there it goes downhill rapidly. 1/13.

A peach I like peaches but it's not really peach season yet, so it didn't have the strongest flavour, but the level of ripeness was surprisingly okay. 9/13 Pizza I made pizza for dinner yesterday. Or actually I started on Wednesday because the dough needed time to rise. It was great pizza dough, chewey and crispy and exactly the right thickness. Isadora Is a Door already took some of his before I took the picture. His half was divided in 3 sections, one with chicken and chorizo, one with tuna and olives and chilies and one with anchovies and different olives and the same chilies. My half was divided in 4 sections: anchovies and olives, chorizo, mushrooms and chilies, feta, tomato and chilies and tuna and sweetcorn. PIZZA/13, pizza cannot be compared to anything or expressed in numbers.

Lasagne with garlic bread and green salad As planned I used soy protein for the mince: it's a really good sort I get I'm Holland and Barrett, it comes dry and you add water to rehydrate it, and then flavour it with whatever herbs and spices etc you want. I used garlic, smoke paprika, oregano, black pepper, and mixed Mediterranean herbs. I also used red wine, vegetarian Worcestershire sauce, mushroom powder, ad a couple of other sauces but I can't remember their names. Plus chopped tomatoes, cheddar, and tomato puree. I didn't make a white sauce but just used cream cheese, and then some more cheddar grated on top. It was delicioussss. The garlic bread was home made and AMAZING. The salad was composed of rocket, cucumber, and green pepper. I had it with olive oil and white wine vinegar. Rating: 13/13, delicioussss This isn't on the list but I also made a chocolate pudding which was amazing, and will definitely be how I do chocolate puddings from now on -- this was much much better than the chocolate pudding I made for TBB. This one was essentially blueberries (quickly cooked with lemon and sugar) and a white chocolate ganache. It's not a official rating but I would give this full marks.

I didn't take a picture of the carrot. I also didn't eat the whole thing at once because I bought the cheap carrots which are always massive. It wasn't great but okay. 6/13. It was an apple. I like apples. 10/13. I made enchiladas last Sunday, this was the first time I ever made any. I decided to make vegetarian ones, so the filling was made with lentils, beans, sweetcorn, carrot, tomatoes and chili and I used wholemeal tortillas. The stuff on top is yoghurt and cheese, it was too cheesy for Isadora Is a Door so he took it off. Mine also had cheese on the inside. This was really nice and I enjoyed making it. I like how the first part of the cooking is the more active part, and then you assemble the whole thing and put it in the oven for just enough time to tidy up the mess from making the filling. I will probably make this again and play around with different fillings. I'm glad I didn't eat a small piece of wood instead. 12/13 I also got some of this mushroom jerky. The texture is a bit weird but it tastes really nice, I might get this sometimes. 10/13 We had some chorizo left from the pizza and decided to put it in the omelette along with some tomatoes. This is Isadora Is a Door's one, served with some avocado (also leftover from something else). I didn't take a picture of mine but it looked very similar even though it had cheese in which this one didn't, and I didn't have any avocado with it. This was a nice lunch, 11/13 I also feel slightly unfair for my peach rating, because when I ate the other ones from the same pack when they were properly ripe they were really nice.

This all looks so good! I'm a bit behind rn, I need to catch up.
The soft powdery coating on the mushroom jerky really threw me off at first but I grew to enjoy it quickly and I love the taste and how chewy it is, especially the bigger bits.

I'm just looking at pilaf recipes, overwhelmed by the amount of options and unable to choose. It would be an easy choice if Isadora Is a Door could eat mushrooms (he likes them but they make him feel sick), because then I would definitely go for this one
