That's a good question. Considering how careless Nero is, wouldn't he just stack the Quagmires and the Baudelaires together in one shack. If I find my copy of TAA, then I'll check. *goes look for it* Weird idea... Perhaps it's against school policy to have boys and girls in the same dorm, sleeping quarters, or "shack", as the case may be. There wouldn't be any problems with siblings living there, but grouping the triplets with members of the opposite gender who aren't in their family might be a little... against rules?

Spelling mistakes: In TRR, Klaus is thinking about how just because the Bauds are unforunate, people think they're stupid...I think...*doesn't have book with self* In THH, Klaus and Sunny are referred to as the Baudelaries at the end of the file cabinets-as-dominoes chapter. I can't find my books, can ya tell? ;D

Well, whatever the reasons, it's Harpor Collin's fault.

Does Vice Principal Nero seem like aperson who would care about any policy?

i thought of something...in TAA, the quagmires have their sweaters. in TEE, it says they were dressed in "tattered rags" (which to me does not mean sweaters). in TVV, they have their sweaters on again.
hm?

Checked "The Elements of Style", Daniel handler was correct. A goes before consanants, an before vowels. And proncunciation changes nothing. ;D

TSS, page 269 "Violet nd Quigley looked up ... and saw four tiny words etched ... right underneath the large letters spelling "V.F.D. Library." "'The world is quiet here,'" Quigley read.
That's five words by my count.

TSS, p. 50 ...true that she [Sunny] had been crying for most of the day, thoroughout the drive...
that's kinda careless.

LSUA pg.47,"The second half will be hidden ...copy of Ivan Lachrymose:Lake Explorer,a very tedious biography it is unlikely anyone will read." Here's another one.LSUA pg.82 "...apologize one more time for any inconvenience caused my Mr.Snicket's unprofessional..." Handler needs a better editor.
