"Lemony Snicket: The story of 3 Siblings, At Least 1 of Whom is Dead." I always thought of that being Snicket, althought yes, it could be about the Baudelaires, Quagmires, or any other 3 children in VFD. I think that yes, a child will die in ASOUE, but I hope it has more details than "The children were locked in a burning building and havn't been seen since" That would crush me. For a book that has (actually) many children die in it is the Wind Singer, Slaves of the Mastery and Firesong. Also "The Giver". And hey, if you want kids dying, read a newspaper.

2 possibly 3 Quagmire kids will die. The censors will be mad, quite a few people won't like it, but Handler won't care.

The censors are simply the people that approve the manuscript between Daniel writing it and the book appearing on the shelves. They're employees of HarperCollins. So if Daniel writes something that HarperCollins doesn't want to publish, there'll be a confrontation that may delay the date we see it. If Daniel kills off acharacter or two, he'll have to do it in a way that HarperCollins feels is OK to unleash on the public.
Could he do it? Sure, he's talented and he's killed off other characters in a way that was acceptable to his readership.
Would it shock the public? You bet, me included.
Will he do it? Only Daniel can say for sure whether he's even considering it.

I agree, and I'm done talking about this and repeating my opinions, only I wouldn't be shocked. He supposedly killed off a kid(Quigley) before so u never know.

Daniel can do it creatively and tastefully enough. If a child is killed off, then it better be in a good way, not as I mentioned above.
Daniel might strike up a deal with HarperCollins to let them release a book with a child dying.

This is more off-topic, but the reason that everyone thinks that DH is gonna kill off a Baud is because in LSUA it says for his Autobiography titles, "Lemony Snicket: The story of 3 Siblings, At Least 1 of Whom is Dead." Now everyone assumes that he means the Bauds. But the Snicket siblings are three, at least Jaques is dead. I never even thought about that being the Baudelaires... being a story about Lemony, I always imagined that it was referring to his family, not the Baudelaires.
