I was just wondering is Olaf is last name or his first name. If it is his first name does anyone know his last name?

his first name is Count and his last name is Olaf That was a joke... I hope. And we don't actually know whether Olaf is his first name or his last name, but first name seems more likely, since everybody calls him Olaf. Count is his title.

Well I would think that Olaf is his first name since Esme and the others always call him that. Besides if it isn't his first name then it would be like if Klaus had a girlfriend who always called him Baudelaire.

His last name is unknown. His first name is Olaf, his title is Count. A count is a nobleman in various European countries, of the equivalent rank of a British earl.

I've always thought that Olaf was Lemony's cousin, therefore his last name is Snicket. This would also explain why he and Jacques(and possibly Lemony) have those unibrows--it's genetic as well as the result of not shaving enough.

Count is his title, not his first name. EDIT: Dang, FFWF posted a split second before me. Yeah, I agree with both of you. And in the V.F.D Transcript, he says to everyone, call me T. But they say they would not call him T, and blah blah blah..but I think he said call me T because it was the name of his disguise at the time.

Thanks for answering...The reason why is because my cousin thinks she she knows what VFD stands for. She has read to the middle of book 7 only. She thinks that Violet is really Olaf's daughter, and that VFD stands for Violet (a middle name that starts with a F) and Olaf's last name(starts with a D). I am only on book 6 so I have no idea if she is right or wrong.

If F. was male and the Family Tree in the U.A. was an actual family tree rather than a recruitment list. Sorry, had to add the conditions.
