This is strange ... I remember watching a movie with that name when I was a child. I don't remember the plot. But I remember it was the first film I saw involving a wheelchair ...I remember that I liked the movie.and I remember a scene of a girl (or a boy) walking back into the garden. This is weird ... I remember seeing a cartoon with the same scene. My childhood memories are confused now. Was it this one? I saw it as a kid too.

Nice, I saw the 1993 version of Secret Garden as a kid, too, and had forgotten I did.

It appears that my kitten Daisy likes (or at least, interested) the TV show. Right now she's resting from her operation yesterday. Every now and again she wakes up with a curious look on her face. Rather sweet, actually. 😍 She likes Disney's Winnie the Pooh, too. Unless she keeps thinking, "What was that noise?" 😂

I think she knows the story as well, growling defensively at the villains while staying quiet with the heroes.

That is definitely a reference as opposed to mere coincidence.

I did some background research, and the comic dates from the 70s, so... yes, it is very much a coincidence. (Unless Handler borrowed his entire plotline from Richie Rich as opposed to Ann Radcliffe.)

link.springer.com/chapter/10.1057%2F9780230294158_5I find that very interesting. Alfred Harvey was of Jewish descent. He created this story. DH is Jewish. He created TBB. In the link above there is a summary of a study on Jewish culture related to weddings and inheritance. Was it possible that this affected the creativity of both authors in some way?

I'm watching a Netflix series in which a character who was very fond of grammar left a secret misspelling message to his 13-year-old son. The message was written in a suicide letter.
