Yeah, the typing in SC is really big and there are too many pictures, that is why i dont wanna read them.
But i love the Harry Potter series, I just like Lemony Snicket MUCH MUCH better.

I don't really want to see an AF movie, i have the first book but never finished it. I DO want to see the Narnia movie though, did you know they start shooting on June 28! I didn't even know they casted the kids already But Spiderwick will be a movie too. The guy who directed Mean Girls and Freaky Friday is doing that one, so i don't know how it will turn out

Narnia looks interesting. Ive seen some interesting sketcehs of certain things. My dad has some "important friends" and stuff, since hes a movie director. Nothing you guys have seen. Hes working his way up. But jsut low-budget stuff.

Some of you people are being very immature. So what?! Who cares if Dan hasn't read SOUE, it's his loss. I think that since this series was pubished after the success of the Potter series and it is directed towards the same age group, there will always people suspicious of it. Plus Klaus does vaguely resmble Harry--though it is still a stupid reason not to read a book--but whatever. Being an HP fan I've heard what a lot of other HP fans have to say about new books that draw a similar audience. Everyone thinks everthing is a ripoff until they know what it's about, but I think that is the case with any popular books. I guess what I'm trying to say is--calm down--it doesn't matter.

Oh, I adore the books profoundly, but I think that Radcliff should stop being a prat face and start reading before making the judgement.
Klaus If klaus had no glasses or black hair, people wouldnt think that he vaguely resembled Harry Potter. You see, we arent being immature. Im trying to say that if the first thing that comes to mind when people hear teh words "best selling childrens books" is Harry Potter, then maybe they should think twice.
You see, I seriously doubt Dan Radcliff is saying these things out of his own mouth. If hes signed up for HP GOF, then that might have something to do with it, too. Remember, a lot of people listen to movie stars because of the things they say, even if it is nonsense. I imagine Radcliffe has figured that out by now.

I'm a living Harry Potter rip-off for several reasons, my bespectaclement being one of them. My sisters say that I have a slight facial resemblance to Daniel Radcliffe. But I have Chinese eyes and I'm a girl. Please don't hurt me for looking like an actor who thought the ASOUE books are ripoffs of Harry Potter.

-----------------Me summing it down----------------
Hp-Good books, expands imagination, sometimes funny Dan Radcliffe-Not the brightest bulb in the shed, in fact, hes the broken one that people always step on.
J.K-Rowling-Used to be nice, first wrote the books for the kids, then did it for the money. Started making the books longer for no reason, dragged the plots along.
ASOUE- Much humour in the writing, not the plot itself. Dosen't drag along. Is short, sweet, and to the point.
Dan Handler-Funny.

Yeah, Rowling has gotten to be something of a magee lately. She does have more money than teh queen of England (no, Im not overexaggerating, she and Oprah are like the only 2 woman billionares, and both have more money than the queen herself). I wish I was Rowling. Actually, no, I wish I had her money!

Aren't we throwing things out of context! Daniel never said LS was a rip-off! He simply said Klaus looks like Harry, which he does. Or Harry looks like Klaus, whichever way you choose to look at it. Don't put words in his mouth.
And whoever said he's judging the books should read the quote again. He makes no mention of the bloody books, just the cover. >.<

Klaus and Harry, if you think about it, don't look very much alike. For example: Klaus has a round-shaped head, Harry has an oval-shaped head. Klaus has brown eyes, Harry has green eyes. And most importantly: Klaus has brown hair, Harry has black hair.

On the book covers, his hair does look black. However, it's a lot tidier than Harry Potter's hair. There's your hair difference.

Not to mention, Harry is described as "small and skinny." I have always found Klaus a little chunky. He has a little babyfat in the pics.

yeah, actually, some pictures, Klaus's hair is dark dark brown (like on TVV) and in some its black (like on TGG and most others). Yeah, I always saw Klaus as a bit pudgy too, and he does have chubish cheeks on the covers. But those are all varies of style, not character design. He didnt mention the books, Sheri, but he is acting ignorant like much of the other people who say the same thing. I didnt say he said stuf about the books, I said he should read the books before jumping to conclusions.
