I'm just curious how many people here at 667 have ever met LS, been to a book signing, or seen him in person.
I met him last month in Naperville. Yay!

So far away am I from any city of consequence, it would be pure chance that I should. However, if the chance arose I would take it.

No, I've never met him but it would be pretty cool if I did.

No, and it's pretty unlikely that he'll visit any city near me, let alone the little-known town where I live. Still, I'd quite like to meet him.

Yes, even though I had to drive almost five hours.
I met him twice in one day, once after a performance when he was book signing, and the other after a benefit at a book signing. He remembered me.
Edit: 6667th post.

Yupsers - In October. ;D I only got to talk to him for about 1 minute, though, because the Borders woman was all pushing the next person's book in front of me.

No, although he has visited my a town very, very close to where I live. My library system won a Lemony Snicket contest, and one of the prizes was an author visit. The tickets were free, and I went to procure some the day they became available, but all were gone from all library branches within an hour of opening. It was sad indeed. The event took place at the Ten Oaks Ballroom, which is both an assembly hall and a firestation. Numerous provisions are provided for the firefighters at the station, including a shop, a dining area, a kitchen, and a library. Apparently there was a refrigerator randomly placed in one of the signing lines that day. I can't believe I missed out.

Do I vote for option two or option three?
I live in the U.K., so basically, I'm never going to meet Snicket, ever. I'd like to, but it's just not going to happen.

I probably never ever will, but I'd like to in the future.

No. I'd liked to though.
Has he ever visited Michigan?

I was just about to ask that question.
No, but I'm going to talk with my Principal and Vice Principal to see if they will invite him to our school for an assembly.
