Similarly, a few years ago I had a Harriet the Spy type of book where I wrote down conversations I'd overheard, and I wrote down descriptions of people's facial expressions as they talked. I had heard of some author doing this and then incorporating the stuff he wrote into his books, and I thought it sounded fun. But, also similar to Harriet the Spy, a friend of mine found the book and thought it was creepy so I stopped writing in it.

I have terrible calligraphy, and handwriting in general.
