Any chance someone can either type that part of the letter up or scan it and post it? Someone is borrowing my copy of the book and I want to read it again, and show it to someone.
Thanks bunchs

There is 2 1/2 pages full of it so I just skipped it. He likes to do that.

Here's a few snippets I found in it:
1: Beatrice is allergic to peppermints
2: Beatrice's father did not approve of her relationship with Lemony.
3: Beatrice owned some tree frogs and marmosets at one time.

2: Beatrice's father did not approve of her relationship with Lemony. I think that's more implied than actually stated - he says he'll love her if she betrays her father and also something about "the outrage of certain parents", but the two aren't necessarily connected. Another one: Beatrice was on a football team at some point, and Lemony was apparently a cheerleader. Of all the revelations about his past, this may very well be the most unlikely ever.

I died when I learned that Lemony had been a cheerleader. Died. That was one of the funniest Asoue-related-moments ever. Beatrice must have been freaked up when she entered the stadium only to see that Lemony was encouraging her in a FREAKING CHEERLEADER COSTUME. Hahaha. "I will never marry this demented weirdo" is the only thought that would have crossed my mind if I had been her.
In my opinion, "the outrage of certain parents" was a reference to the murder of Olaf's parents. Beatrice and Lemony feared Olaf's possible revenge.

Yes--that Lemony cheerleader sentence was extremely funny...then again, so was that part in TPP where Sir and Charles are holding hands so as not to lose one another.

That part in TPP where Sir and Charles are holding hands so as not to lose one another. Speaking of which, you can't forget the part of the letter which referenced Sir and Charles' love for one another. And I completely agree with Shruti.

I agree with you who agrees with shruti...who agrees with me? Nevermind...you understand. Yes, that part in TBL was very very funny...I gasped, actually, surprised that Snicket would put that in there. I'm glad he did, though. Ever since TMM I wondered if the "partners" were partners, if you know what I mean.

Well, if Sir and Charles are "partners," then most of the affection probably comes from Charles. Sir just bosses him around all the time.

It's on page 335, I believe. "...and they saw Charles and Sir, who were holding hands so as not to lose one another..."
