Plaid pleated skirts are fun. I'd get one, but I can't find one that isn't deathly skimpy or trashy.

Long trenchcoats are fun to wear. I have discovered this today, as it is what I am wearing (it's finally nice/warm enough to wear the one I bought).
We read a thing about punks in English... it was saying that cheap materials are basically what they wear... "'Cheap' trashy fabrics (PVC, plastic, lurex, etc) in vulgar designs (e.g. mock leopard skin) and 'nasty' colours, long discarded by the quality end of the fashion industry as obsolete kitsch, were salvaged by the punks and turned into garments..." So I'm not surprised they wore not-doc-martins.
Also, thinking about it, I realized that the 'lunch table crowd' I discussed earlier is more punk than goth (and they definately liked punk music better). At least some of them (a couple may have been goth, but I don't recall).

I wear Not Doc Martins because they're the only stylish footwear of their kind I can afford. I shop at Payless and Discount Shoe Warehouse.
I'm a little apprehensive--okay, a lot apprehensive--about seeing BR, since it will make me very very sad when people die. ;_; But hey, I got over everyone cool in Ladykillers dying, so X3
Isn't the second one about everyone who survived the first movie becoming terrorists or something?

about the freaks in the 8th grade: dress up properly!! wear something nice and pretty and (possibly) frilly!! lose the freaky clothes for prize day at least!! hah, i laugh at them b/c next year they won't be allowed to wear that stuff...they'd get judiciary and if they do it 3 times they'll get saturday detention. *evil smiley, as u people don't have one* shes a tamora pierce freak. shes a freaky weirdo (she goes to sheroes instead).

I wear Not Doc Martins because they're the only stylish footwear of their kind I can afford. I shop at Payless and Discount Shoe Warehouse. There's a difference between wearing Not Doc Martins because they're all you can afford, and wearing them because that's the style. I wear random generic brands. I used to get them at K-Mart, but now it's closed, so I have to get them at Target (which isn't as bad as Wal-Mart, at least, but I miss K-Mart). Sometimes I shop at Payless, but all the shoes at the Payless near me seem to be dress shoes or running sneakers, the former of which aren't practical at school, the latter of which hurt my feet.

I wear sneakers all the time, it's my everyday shoe (sadly, they get worn out really fast.) Then I have a pair of scuffed black boots, and some winter boots, and some sandals. ... how'd we get onto this topic again?

I hate wearing black school shoes, the heel on mine gets too heavy to walk around in all day!
So I wear my runners instead. My art teacher said that I shouldn't wear them because they're not plain black or white, so I just say my form teacher said I could, and when my form teacher says the same thing, I just say my art teacher said I could, so It all works out!
