Alright then. Thank you for clearing that up.
I think it depends on who you're talking about, for whether it's a style or lifestyle. There are the people who just like the clothes, but don't have the "attitude," and there are the people with that attitude, but not the clothes.... In other words, it can be either, I think, and they don't have to be together.

I'm not completely goth, but I do wear black a whole lot and I'm depressed/partially depressed a whole lot. I never wear chains though. I've only been inside that punk/goth store, Hot Topic a few times because my mom's afraid to go in. My sister just goes in for the Care Bear stuff. It's kinda odd how they have strawberry shortcake and care bears and my little ponies next to T-shirts with bad language, "Dead Dolls" and oddly-colored underthings. But they have Invader Zim and Hamtaro stuff which is *yipeeee!*

I hate it how lately, especially on guys, all you see is that they've all got their hair died black, they all wear black shirts, and they've all got either blue jeans or black pants on. It looks really ugly. You'd think they'd stop and take a look at themselves in the mirror for a second. They don't even look a tiny bit cute.

there are some "punks" in the 8th grade at my school and on prize day (its what we call the graduating ceremony at the end of the year) they wore these really ugly plaid pleated skirts with saftey pins and stuff and thats what they wear every holiday/ special occasion. its really stupid. and they think that wind pants and stuff are punk cos they re baggy. its really stupid. and they wear these freaky lace up shoes that are really cheap and plastic and they are their school shoes. its like cheap plastic dr martens except they dont look like them.

I like plaid skirts, but only when they're on Chiaki Kuriyama. I own one but I never wear it. Haha, I have cheap fakey not-Doc Martins too. But they're getting small for me. I should get a new pair.
