I know quite a few people who dislike her, but I like her better. She's one of the more realistic characters, because she has her flaws, but is overall a good person.

I know quite a few people who dislike her. Oh, yes, you know me! I think Quiglet is just one of those ships everybody likes really. Please, don't say "everybody". I will disappoint you! I don't! A new example of the phrase, "Nothing can be beloved by everyone". So not everybody, but yes, many people likes Quiglet.. I don't want to seem rude but I don't like when someone says, "Everyone likes it.." or "Everyone dislikes it..." the fact that I am kind of person which dislikes a lot of many thing loved by most of people( for example, I hate cats and eyes of cats, I hate going shopping) and likes many thing which most of people hate( I lovebooks, eating octopuses, spending time alone, Kristen Stewart, cooking) this fact can justify you. I guess I am kinda unique.... Well, I suppose we all have got something unique but not so many people have got SO many unique things like me. I think I am one of weirdest and most unique human have ever been created on the Earth. Reason for Editing: Moderator Edit: Merging double-post.

Many people like the things you like and many people also dislike cats and shopping.

On an unrelated topic, I've apparently cast a vote in this pole without any memory of for whom it was I voted. It's occurred to me that you could write down all the vote tallies, then retract your vote, and see which number decreased? I know that's going to a lot of effort, though; I don't think I would, and I don't remember who I voted for before. As for the popularity of Violet/Quigley, I think that can be accounted for by the simple fact that it's one of the few ships that can really be called canon.

I know that's going to a lot of effort, though; I don't think I would, and I don't remember who I voted for before. I retracted the vote in a separate tab, then skimmed. Apparently Sir and Charles were the pair I found most amusing and/or attractive. Edit: Although on that note, Dante, it looks like you saved your future self the trouble.

Actually looking through the thread is far more trouble than writing down the poll numbers and then retracting my vote. Please, Sherry Ann, attend to the practicalities. But seriously, thanks for pointing that out; interesting how Sir and Charles is beating Kit and Dewey, another canonical couple. But we never actually see Kit and Dewey interact, which is a problem.

It's interesting to see how Jacques and the duchess of Winnipeg have two votes. And there are six votes for other, Violaf probably.

Observe too Esme and Olaf's sole vote, even though they occupied a significant proportion of the books. I'd say the villains get all the attention, but polls like these show that isn't necessarily true.

I see no Carmelitalaf. I am unimpressed.

There are only so many spaces available when you post a poll, so alas, not every permutation of ASoUE's huge cast will be possible. I must admit to not having actually heard that one before, though - although it does seem retrospectively obvious.

Yeah. Of course Olaf was totally into his adoptive daughter, who was many many years his junior. Duh.

It's not entirely impossible. Olaf's pursuit for Violet seemed at points disturbingly genuine.

My criterion for "obvious" is "have actually spoken to each other," which not everyone on the poll has...
