Bobbing For Apples was my favourite song that she played because of how funny it is. Don't listen to that one Roxy, it's PG13 I saw her acoustically at the Sydney Opera House and she was sooooo good. Oh, you’re kidding! Lucky... she came to the city where I live and tickets sold out within five minutes... What? No, I’m not crying! You’re crying!

PG13 is fine by me, I doubt it would be more inappropriate than some of Melanie Martinez’s stuff,

Esmé Squalor - The Fame, Money Honey (TEE), Bad Romance (Esmé/Olaf breakup), Monster (Esmé/Olaf), Fashion, all by Lady GaGa. Lady Gaga’s song “Money Honey” is about her indifference to material things. she sings, “when you give me k-kisses, that’s money honey” I.e. intimacy is what is of real value to her. You fail !!

at the moment, no song quite sums up the feeling i get when thinking about ASOUE quite like this one:
the lyrics don't feel terribly snicket-esque, save for the hook, but there's something about the arrangement and especially the song's momentum that gets me picturing the baudelaires in some burnt-out building, putting the pieces together and "bringing them all back to life" as they have to make a break for it.
please forgive the dreadful music video i've linked. MVs aren't feist's strong point ;-;
