Bobbing For Apples was my favourite song that she played because of how funny it is. Don't listen to that one Roxy, it's PG13 I saw her acoustically at the Sydney Opera House and she was sooooo good. at the moment, no song quite sums up the feeling i get when thinking about ASOUE quite like this one:
the lyrics don't feel terribly snicket-esque, save for the hook, but there's something about the arrangement and especially the song's momentum that gets me picturing the baudelaires in some burnt-out building, putting the pieces together and "bringing them all back to life" as they have to make a break for it.
please forgive the dreadful music video i've linked. MVs aren't feist's strong point ;-;
