This is very similar to the pairing songs thread, only there aren't any pairings. Well, this is the place to post what you think are the character's theme song, and a post a reason, if you have one. Here are mine:
Violet: Angel of Darkness by Alex C & Yasmin K. OK, this song was originally about Lara Croft but I think it fits Violet as well. She fights back with her inventions and isn't afraid of all the evil people in her life!
Klaus: Hurt by Nine Inch Nails. I'm not a terribly big fan but I just think of Klaus everytime I hear it.
Sunny: Cuppycake by Amy Castle. It's short, sweet and adorable; just like Sunny! Plus, it reminds me of her cry of "Cake!" in The Bad Beginning!
Count Olaf: So Happy Together by The Turtles. Don't ask me why but I find this song very sinister. It used to give me nightmares when I was little Plus, when the Baudelaires meet Olaf, he tries to convince them he's a good person, and obviously he's not; pretty much how I feel about The Turtles.
Esme Squalor: Poker Face by Lady Gaga OR Let Me Borrow That Top by Kelly. This was really difficult for me to decide! I chose Poker Face because I can totally picture her strutting down the catwalk with the song in the background. I chose that Kelly song because I know she will go to great lengths to get the top she wants!
Hook-Handed Man: Emo Kid Song by Adam & Andrew. He has no hands. He must be emo!
Quigley Quagmire: My Happy Ending by Avril Lavigne. Violet and Quigley seperated on good terms, I think, but I chose this particular song because my personal belief is that it was in fact Duncan who called out her name, making Quigley upset and believes Duncan is the better choice for Violet.
Kit Snicket: Fall to Pieces by Avril Lavigne. Best Avril song EVER! Anyway, I chose Fall to Pieces because I personally believe that Kit knew she was dying and she didn't even make a fuss about it. Plus, it was the main inspiration for Behind the Prison Bars, it's a good Olaf/Kit song
Phil: Always Look on the Bright Side of Life by Monty Python. Uh...The answer is in the question
The One Looks Like Neither a Man Nor a Woman: Dude Looks Like a Lady by Aerosmith
Lemony Snicket: The Day I Died by Just Jack. Just because
All I can think of right now.
