Who do CAN'T see Klaus with? My 5 votes are: Violet Klaus and Violet are related by blood very closely. They have got the same biological parents. I am not a fan of such kind of pairings.
Sunny For the same reasons.
Fiona She betrayed Baudelaires. They thought she is their friend but she abandoned them at the end of TGG. I think she is not good enough to be with Klaus. She can do something bad for Klaus. Vice Principal Nero It is hard to imagine two male or two female characters together for me. I don't see any ASoUE characters as gay or bisexual(except Isadora).
Isadora Quagmire I don't like all Baudelaire/Quagmire pairings. Violet/Quigley, Violet/Duncan, Klaus/Isadora, Sunny/Duncan, Sunny/Quigley pairings always annnoyed me.
The other girls: Esme won't return Klaus's feelings but I love the idea Klaus dreaming about an adult woman. Arielle is not a character. Carmelita and Colette ARE dating with Klaus in my ficverse.

Well, I really want to select more than five options with this poll. To be honest, most of them seem to be inappropriate for Klaus simply due to age. I don't agree with the principle of providing a selection of partners who seem to be chosen with little regard to canon or even common sense.

I just added Nero her because I thought it could be funny. And I know there is a lot of fans of slash pairings, like Emma Squalor or freebird.

My approach to shipping has always been a lot like my approach to any other speculative theory; that said, I can see writing a plausible fic about some of these pairings as being an interesting challenge, even if I don't really have a personal investment in it. Well, I guess that's what Weird Ship Week is for...

Is Weird Ship Week still around?
Anyway, I find the majority of choices on the poll equally implausible. For example, characters such as Carmelita and Esmé are outwardly negative toward Klaus and the other Baudelaires (even if Esmé's age could be compromised), while pairings such as Klaus and Violet or Klaus and Nero are simply ridiculous. I don't think the grounds upon which we would evaluate such characteristics are even - there are too many factors to consider, in other words.

I'm in favour of Klaus and Isadora. I can see Klaus making peace with Fiona, and all - but I think there'd be too much hurt feelings between them to re-establish their relationship with each other. I also, in general, am not too fond of wide age gaps between characters.

Isadora is only of three Quagmire which doesn't annoy me but I still can't imagine her with Klaus. You know I was having a fit of giggles, while I was creating this poll.

I can see that Klaus/Nero, for instance, might be seen as quite a gap, but Klaus and Fiona are only three years apart.

For some reason, I really can't see Klaus with Isadora. I can see him with Fiona, but I really hate Fiona. However, it seems that they would go best together out of these options. Although the idea of Klaus and Friday is interesting. That would be pretty cute

For some reason, I really can't see Klaus with Isadora. Me, too. But I dislike Fiona too much to pair her with such lovely guy like Klaus.

I think Lemony hasn't present us to the perfect girl for Kluas.

I think Lemony hasn't present us to the perfect girl for Kluas. There is perfect people in the world. But there close to "perfect" and far from "perfect". Fiona is VERY, VERY far from "perfect". She is hypocrisy, lying and treacherous person. Klaus doesn't need to date with a traitor.

I didn't said that are perfect people in the world, I don't believe in they. I just say that the best Klaus's pair is not in the series.

All of her family has been taken away from her and then she meets up with her long-lost brother, don't lie to me and say that you wouldn't have done the exact same thing if you were her. She also sacrificed her life later to save the Baudelaires from Olaf's submarine. Fiona's loyal to her family more than friends she's only known for a few days, I wouldn´t in a lifetime call that treacherous, hypocrisy or lying.

Vanja has a point there. Fiona barely knew the Baudelaires anyway, and she still tried to save their lives, which I thought was very noble of her.
However, I don't think she and Klaus would be a great couple.
