I suspect whoever suggested that may have been saying it tongue in cheek, but I was thinking of asking Tragedy to be in charge of that one. Maybe the prize could be admin for a day? *Breathes deep sigh of relief*. Because the front post in this thread lists it as if it were real. I would be happy to do the trivia thingy, though I'd like a bit more guidance on what it would involve.

Great! Thanks, Linda. Yes, if you don't mind, I'd love to see how it's been done in the past. Ok, I found this in my bookmarks: asoue.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=story&action=display&thread=17290&page=1It doesn't have any links to the actual entries but there are a lot of them on page 24 of Fearsome Fiction. I also found a bunch from another WSW on page 34, and this thread that linked to a ton of them. There's also this thread for a 667 WSW, and entries on page 31 of Chaotic Creativity. Could I create two separate threads, one for ASOUE cover design and another for ATWQ? Sorry again for all the questions. If it were up to me, I'd just do the ATWQ cover, but it's up to you. *Breathes deep sigh of relief*. Because the front post in this thread lists it as if it were real. I would be happy to do the trivia thingy, though I'd like a bit more guidance on what it would involve. I could see this happening a couple of ways. One way would be to post a list of difficult questions and have people pm them to you, and whoever gets the most correct answers wins. Another way would be to post one question at a time at random times, and after you post it the first person to answer it correctly gets a point, with the person that accumulates the most points winning. And then I have a third idea, which is to combine it with the vernacularly fastened door idea and have the answers be the passwords to various secret boards. That third idea would mean you'd have to either be given temporary admin powers or work closely with Tragedy; the other two you could do on your own.

I've read the first post but unfortunately I am still very confused about this whole thing :S

I can see why you might be overwhelmed, Groge. To put it simply: To celebrate its tenth anniversary, we are arranging a series of activities (contests, themes, projects) to enjoy June 18th through June 24th. In the first post, you'll see the activities we brainstormed and the person running the particular event. If you see VOLUNTEER NEEDED TO RUN THIS CONTEST, that would be your opportunity to lead a certain event. The particulars about remaining positions can be found throughout the thread, or you can ask again here if something is unclear. Meanwhile, the guest list is a compilation of old and new members who will be contacted about the celebration and encouraged to attend.

Hey guys, it's been a few days. I'm waiting until the Darkies are over to proceed, but Shelly's sent me a pm with an activity idea that I thought I'd post. A few years back someone created a "Which 667er are you?" quiz, and she wonders if anyone would be interested in remaking it (the original no longer exists). She still has the original banners saved.

Sounds like a fun idea to me, if you can come up with a good update to it.

I second Dante's comment. I remember seeing Libitina with one of those as her signature. My favourite banner is BSam's. It's quite succinct.
