Not October, though. That's unthinkable! Very nice teasers; #4 is particularly strong. I see you've been taking some influence from Tiago, who is a very good person to be influenced by. I definitely look forward to reading the full text.

I mean it's sometime between Sept, Oct, and Nov. I'm researching and rereading for the story material. The early 1900's are steampunkish, full of machines, so I've picked that time. Anyway, in my ficverse, ASOUE happens around 1906.
Anyway, Sam and Nells have not yet met E.S, F.C, and the other villains. I wonder how they will go.
One clue: They'll meet the Baudelaires. Anyway, Chapter 0.5 out 2moro or the day after 2moro.
Sherry Ann:[glow=red,2,300](Great stuff! I like the line about the dress code best, I think.)[/glow] @sherry Ann: The dress code line (if you really know or just basically know AG Sam.) is a request from Grandmary! I even laughed at that!
There's something wrong with the quote button.

I like the new teasers; visually, they're quite realistic. As for the quote button - it looks like you're using the font and glow tags rather than (without spaces) around the text you're trying to cover.

Oh, and anyway, this story will contain cutouts to indicate the situation of the story. @sherry Ann: I'm trying to use the quote button! But it didn't work! Are you happy to see F.C from YASOUE in my story? Kit's tits kick ticks: It's easy to make these pictures. I use PicMonkey for editing and I sometimes Google search the picture basics.

It's not only making the pictures, I wouldn't have the ideas for pictures or stories.
I'm happy to see F.C. He's an interesting character.

If you wondered, sometimes, whether a book is good enough for you to read or too awful to read, you should look at the synopsis first. I once bought a book from the bookstore and it was awful, and I regretted having bought that book. I hope you don’t read this awful instalment, which is the twenty-seventh book concerning about the Baudelaire orphans, and another set of orphans. This work is sincerely continued by me because nobody had the intention and bravery to do so. Most of the information on the past of Samantha and Nellie has been kindly stated by E.E, A.V , M.H.S, and S.M.B. I did the rest. The information in this book is awful, so please leave AT ANY COSTS! -------------------- One fateful evening, Mr. Gardner Edwards, who was sitting by his office window, saw a letter stuck there. He opened the window and saw an envelope coloured in pine green. He saw the seal, and his heart sank, a word which here means that he had lost hope of, instead of his heart really did sank in a gathering of liquid substances. It was a collection of the letters V, F and D, but it was not arranged like the ways of the noble side. It was arranged like the sign a notorious trading organisation that ruled the Dutch East Indies long ago. He opened the envelope, and saw the following strange letter: However, he knew the meaning of the letter, and he silently thought about L, his beloved sister. He knew that there was only time before a bad thing occured and put his family into danger. He had to work an extra shift that night. It will be too late to warn them, and to save the house......

Yikes. What a prologue. That's an interesting idea for the insignia of the parallel side of V.F.D. - I hope we learn more about them. Also, the twenty-seventh book about the Baudelaires? I fear the real-world publication rates haven't caught up with the in-universe ones.

Twenty-seventh= ASOUE(13)+yASOUE(13)+this book Anyway, the insignia of the parallel V.F.D is influenced from the insignia of VOC. Oh yeah, some quoting from the original Sam book. It was spoken by one of the Sam canon characters that we'll meet soon. But not so soon. Anyway, Chapter One out ,probably tommorrow night.

On a very odd morning, Samantha woke up. She was in an automobile, she realized, and she wondered how did she got there. Last night, she had slept in her cozy home in New York City, dreaming about Grandmary asking her to be a proper lady. She glanced around the automobile, and she realised the driver was neither Uncle Gard nor Aunt Cornelia, and she saw Nellie beside her yawning and mumbling,”Where the world are we?” The driver looked to her, and the two young ladies saw that the driver had sharp brown eyes. It was a volunteer, and he was very old when he told me the unfortunate events that befell the children. It was actually none of their concern to know who the man was, but his initials were L and S. This time, they looked at their clothes, and saw that they were wearing clothes like what Nellie used to wear when she worked at Mrs. Ryland’s, a very long time ago. It was a terrible choice of attire, but let me describe the clothing they wore. It consisted of an ugly pinafore, as coarse as rucksack, the material used to make attire not very long ago, in a certain place. They also wore ugly, worn blouses. Fortunately, they still had their beautiful, shining and expensive leather boots, of course, but it would not be of any use when a series of unfortunate events came to them, in an endless chain that will be the plot of this book. Then, they felt a breeze of cold air, and saw that they were nearby a dock. They read the sign that was fancily written; “We are in Damocles Dock, children, or should I say, orphans?” he asked in a tone that Samantha sensed as an intriguing tone. “Your house in New York City was burned. We didn’t know if your aunt survived, but I assure your younger sisters are safe.” Bridget and Jenny, Nellie thought, or so I think. “What about Uncle Gard? He was inside the house!” Samantha asked, then shouted. The driver took a deep breath. “I’m afraid-your uncle perished in the fire. The fire department said so last night.” Samantha and Nellie gasped. Uncle Gard was a very nice man who used to call Samantha ‘Sam’. He had so kindly adopted Nellie O’Malley from the orphanage, which was a dreadful place. I regreted that the fire-starting side of V.F.D had burned the house, to find that the fortune had not been there. “Why had the fire burn?” Nellie asked. I’ve known why had they burned the house, but the two young ladies had not known. So, the driver answered, with a depressed tone,”I’m afraid that a group of arsonists tried to get the Edwards fortune, along with the Parkington fortune. Your mother was an active woman in conquering the evils of the world. I had to drive you when the fire started in the laundry room, and you were still sleeping.” The driver continued to talk, but the orphans didn’t listen, as something had tickled their minds. The Parkington and Edwards fortune? They thought, or so I think, and it meant that Samantha’s grandparents, Grandmary and the Admiral, are in quite a danger. It is neccessary to warn you again to stop reading, because when this story, filled with woe and tragedy, you may be filled with tears, and you may regret reading this story instead of reading something joyful, although you want to know very much about what happened to them, you will fail to behold the tragedy that lay ahead as the automobile journeyed away, from the harbor, and from everything the orphans knew.
Author's Disclaimer: This trilogy will take place alongside AQSOUE. I mean, the first book happens exactly after the first book of AQSOUE, and this book trilogy tells of the journey of the Baudelaires after the Great Unknown.

So in a sense this is fanfiction not just for ASoUE but Tiago's series as well? An intriguing decision; it must be quite challenging to weave all those different stories together. This is an okay start, anyway, and I like your use of illustration here.

It's a good start for someone as young as you! I hope I won't be confused because I'm sure Tiago has already planned something for the Baudelaires after YASOUE/during AQSOUE, so they have two "futures" now.

Kit's tits kick ticks: Ok, I have asked permission from Tiago to write about the Baudelaires. I even wrote a PM to him using Snickety style! (That part about the PM was some frank work.) Actually, I used to get the highest marks for English Composition! @dante: I love it that you liked the use of the illustration! The basis of this idea was actually an Indonesian mystery book, written by someone younger than me, which has full-color scraps to indicate items in the story. I had learned to color pics on PS, so the illustrations will be better next time.

As they went far, far away from the Damocles Dock, they saw a few things. One, was the Dark Avenue they passed before the orphans, with a decoration one nowadays would describe as Lolita, which here means ‘decorations everywhere filled with lace and bows, originated in Japan, stuck on almost every right-angled corner and angles measuring corners of other degrees of Dark Avenue’ Nellie looked disgustingly on the over-laced decorations and said, “This is even worse than being stuck in Grandmary’s wardrobe.” Once, they had visited Grandmary during the holidays, and the two girls had sneaked in to Grandmary’s bedroom. They had opened Grandmary’s gigantic and colossal wardrobe, and without even five seconds, the entire contents of the colossal wardrobe came tumbling down on them like hail, but on a larger scale, concerning Grandmary’s hooped skirts, corsets, and other ancient and itchy stuff inserted into it. Nellie never opened another ancient or old wardrobe again. “I also hate Dark Avenue.” the driver mumbled. “But I have to take you here because two comrades-to-be of yours are waiting.” He stopped in front of a very tall building, which, I must describe as 667 Dark Avenue. It was now bombarded with a stack of lace, ribbons, and flowery fabric. When they arrived at the big doors of the tall building, Samantha’s heart was beating fast. Who is the new comrade that he mentioned? she thought. The driver knocked on the door. A doorman opened the door . This doorman was different than the one the Baudelaires encountered, for this was a real doorman, not another person in disguise. He said: “I didn’t realize this was a sad occasion, sir.” The driver answered with a hard and stern tone, “Hush. The world is quiet here.” The two girls wondered, what could their words mean. But, as I know, and my two fellow comrades know, it was a signal of the old V.F.D, not the one to be described in this sad book. The driver pushed a button on one of the elevators on the ground floor. The elevator opened and they were finally in a room that didn’t have any ‘Lolita’ decorations. It was an usual elevator, as usual as what a usual elevator might be. Forgive me for using a British word to describe such a thing, because it was known this way Hence, they went up on the elevator. When they arrived at the uppermost floor, Samantha and Nellie were astonished by what they saw. There was a very large penthouse apartment, with seventy-one rooms. It had belonged to an evil Mrs.Squalor that had abandoned her husband, and tried to steal about five fortunes by the time I wrote this. But now it had belonged to the driver, who was guiding them to a set of rooms. He opened a door, and led them inside. There were two children inside and a young lady. Samantha and Nellie took turns shaking hands with the people, who introduced themselves as Violet, Sunny and Beatrice Baudelaire. Then, the driver said, “I guess I’ll introduce myself. I’m Lewton Saynet. I was given this penthouse apartment as a inheritance by Jerome Squalor as his adopted son.” Samantha and Nellie listened. “I believe these are pictures of people in your family. Anyway, you can call me Lew.” he said.He took out two small, hand-painted potraits out from his suit pocket. It’s Grandmary and Mother!” Samantha shouted. “She looks like Cindry!” Violet said, pointing at Grandmary’s potrait. She did look like Cindry Fulfillment, one of the Baudelaires’ friends. Lew took a breath and said, “Yes. The Dorthingtons are related to the Fulfillments.” Samantha had never heard of her grandmother’s maiden name. It was a strange name, in fact. Lew then continued, “I’ll take you to your rooms first, girls. See you later, Violet, Sunny, Beatrice.” Lew bid goodbye to the orphans they had just met. They followed Lew in hopes of being happy in the adventures that will follow ahead, but they will never be.
