-I thought I was getting a cold... at some point. -Yesterday? The day before? -It's hard to tell. -It's still raining here, although not as heavily as it was before. -I should be at home all day today, but I'll have to help make dinner later. -Hopefully, I'll get to make cake. -I have a sudden craving for cake. -I hate web-pages that take ages to load, and when they do load, they flick you immediately onto that window right out of any other windows you've been looking at. -If I wanted to look at that page right now, I'd've kept it at the front. -Bah. -Of course, I wouldn't have this problem if I didn't have at least two windows open at all times. -Right now I have four windows open. -Mother's just waking up from a nap. -I just had to get her a glass of water. -I can hear my brother watching something on TV. -Either a video or a DVD. -I wish we didn't have too many DVDs, because then I could just say "I can hear my brother watching a video" and it would be so much simpler. -Ah well. -We had to put a new ink cartridge in the printer earlier. -I'd completely forgotten how to access the cartridges in this printer. -And then they started not working, and such. -But it's all fine now. -That's one of the most interesting things to happen to me all day. -The other was that I had to make my own breakfast, but seeing as I only need a drink and a cereal bar, then it wasn't surprising that I had to do it myself.
Edit:
-Went off on a tangent somewhere, and forgot about the main thread. -Colds are really bad. -Whenever I have a cold, then I think "I'd trade the sniffiness for the headache stage." -And then when it gets to the headache stage, I think "I was wrong. Surely the sniffiness wasn't that bad." -In conclusion: Colds are one of the worst things that can happen to you. -Commonly. -Especially when you get them as frequently as me.

-I hate web-pages that take ages to load, and when they do load, they flick you immediately onto that window right out of any other windows you've been looking at. -I agree, those are quite annoying. -That happens a lot with games. -I like to browse other things during the minute or so it takes a game to load, and it's annoying when the game flicks back to the front. -I have two windows open now. -I try to keep my number of internet windows down to just two, but it's often hard. -I often try to do too many things at once, both on the computer and off it. -One of my bad habits is staying logged on to 667 while off looking at another window, or working in Paint Shop, or having a snack. -But I think Proboards automatically takes you off the online list if you stay on the same page for ten minutes, or something. -We don't have many DVDs, as we got the player pretty recently. -Hitchhiker's is coming out on DVD in a week or so. -We'll be sure to get the version with the most extras. -Today's crossword puzzle looks hard--it's got lots of long words.

-I never actually log off 667. -Or anywhere, if I can avoid it. -I find it rather tedious to have to log in, and so I try to avoid it. -I never did get the DVD of the aSoUE movie. -Well, I suppose I'd never have watched it. -I'm always busy doing other things. -I have slight cramp in my neck. -It's pretty annoying. -I found a neat game the other day. -It was a sequel to that Alien in the Room game. -I never finished it, though, as it was annoying. -They'd taken the Darkness 2 approach, and made it into running around - by clicking - through various corridors and rooms. -And there were lots of buttons and lots of rooms, and I think you could only have one room open at a time. -I'd have to write it all down to remember it, so I just stopped playing. -My family's gone out for a walk. -In the cold and the rain and the wind. -It serves them right. -They're always spying on me. -Ah, I might have found some good new games now, though. -I'll just play through them and see if they're any good. -If they are, I'll provide links. Edit: - Quaint Room-Pretty easy. -I barely needed any help on that. -I didn't realise that there was something in front of the candle, and that I couldn't just reach out and grab it.

-I'm wearing my ASoUE shirt. -Next time I got to Hot Topic, I'll have to remember to look for that new one, with Violet. -The Hot Topic website mistakenly says that the shirts have original artwork from the books. -I wonder who did the end credits artwork, anyway. -I found a site about the credits once, but never bookmarked it. -I found a bunch of white blocks lying around the "quaint room". -They're not that well-hidden. -My doorknob keeps getting stuck, so I had to adjust the screws in it. -We had to replace my bedroom doorknob a while ago, and I have one of the old crystal knobs in my room, because it's pretty. -It looks pleasantly cloudy outside. -Yu-Gi-Oh's on, and I'm kind of watching it, or at least listening to it.

-My room doesn't have what one might call a real door-knob. -Or even a real door. -It has a sort of roller thing, so that the door sticks somewhat when fully closed. -All you have to do to open it, though, is push. -The door-knob itself is stationary. -It's still grey and rainy outside, and slightly misty. -A fairly miserable day, rally. -I'll probably go and read Maskerade in my room in a few minutes. -I'm nearing the end. -My parents have arrived home. -I gather that my brother fell over in the mud at one point. -Nothing has really been happening to me. -And I can't see what else would happen today. -It's almost a good thing that I'll have to help cook dinner. -At least it'll give me something to talk about. -I don't know what we're having for dinner, but I'll be making some cake for our pudding. -For a moment, around when I typed the "d" in "dinner" in the last fact, then my vision seemed to slide backwards, and I felt slightly dizzy. -I need a rest.

-The wild parrots are back. -I can hear them now. -Some are actually in my front yard, I think. -I was out front a moment ago and one flew within about four feet of me. -Time, I think, go to take some photos. -Something's wrong with the camera, it seems. -I tried to take a photo, and it just turned itself off. -Oh well, the parrots are all gone now. -I can still hear them in the distance, but they're no longer hanging around this block. -The camera needs new batteries, it seems.

-My father's watching Back to the Future Part III (?) on TV in the lounge. -Originally, it sounded a lot like the cartoon version of The Mummy, but then I actually went in to check. -Sometimes my digital camera stops working for no good reason. -The whole thing just freezes up, and the buttons stop working. -And that happens even when the batteries aren't low. -You can tell when the batteries are low as a message saying "Batteries Low" flashes on-screen, and it turns itself off. -I usually fix these problems by removing the battery, and then putting it back in. -I have to re-set the date and time every time I do that, though. -My mother and brother are doing some sort of game or puzzle. -And then I'll probably have to go and help cook dinner. -Whenever there are any interesting birds in the back garden - well, magpies, anyway - they fly away as soon as I grab the camera. -It's not even as if I make any sudden movements. -I'll get a picture of them someday.

I have no idea how she did it but Emily gave me her cold. Its just startng but I know I caught it. I'm pretty sure I didn't eat or drink anything of hers but I was in contact with her and her cold alot recently. The bishop visited our school. I didnt like him. I saw this guy in white robes wlaking around and I was like "oh he looks alright". But that was just his "master of ceremonies" which is a fancy term for "the guy who holds the hat". The real bishop as just as pretentious as I thought and he basically tried to be light and inspiring while not actually talking about anything. Though he took his haton and off six times. He just like waved to Tatoo, the master of ceremonies guy I though the was rather Tatoolike, and he came took off his hat then put it back on and it was the most pointless crazy thing. He kept randomly doing stuff with his hat. And people hat to hold the hat and staff but they couldnt actually touch it because they weren't priest. The whole thing made me angry. Someone should have stolen his hat.

-I've been spending a lot of the evening reading Feet of Clay. -I was getting bored of the Night Watch, but this actually has a very interesting and mysterious plot. -I've just been curled up in my room. -I've done that a lot lately. -It's very peaceful. -Anyway, before that, I also had to help make dinner. -Or rather, I helped prepare some potatoes, and then I made some chocolate-chip cake. -The latter turned out very nice, although I couldn't really stomach the former. -I feel tired. -I've not been on 667 today. -I've had other things to do. -Anyway, I need to get back to Feet of Clay. -I'm somewhat more than half-way through, and I'd like to finish it before tomorrow. -After all, the sooner I finish this one, the sooner I can start reading the more interesting ones. -Or at least, the ones which look or sound more interesting. -After Feet of Clay it's Hogfather, which sounds great. -Did I mention that I feel tired? -Well, I do. -Lying down for most of the day will do that to a person. -I have tuna and cheese sandwiches sometimes. -When I first thought of that particular combination, I thought it sounded pretty odd. -But then it turned out to be far tastier than I'd anticipated. -But I don't eat those much these days. -I wonder if there's any more pizza left? -I'd like that for lunch tomorrow. -I like pizza. -It's easy to eat, you can put all sorts of delicious or nutritious things on top, and if you're lucky, it tastes good as well. -And it's less likely to fall apart than a sandwich. -I feel like I'm about to fall asleep. -Back to Feet of Clay, then.

-I went to the beach today. -My friend invited me. -And she's much younger. -She had a huge crush on my brother but now she says she's over him. -She's not. -*rolls eyes* -It's very irritating because I'm the tagalong. -They spent all their money in the arcades. -Tee hee. -So did I, though. -I got a Stewie! -I <3 it. -I tried to get a Yankees ball, but I couldn't. -I hate those big fat claws. -They never get the prize. -Plus cotton candy was $4. -And the fun house was $5. -My friend was sooo scared. -I was scared because there was clowns in there. -Not real, obviously. -But sha. -That part scared me, but no other parts did. -Cuz I'm paranoid. -The lady got mad at her too, because she was so scared. Then she said, "I'm banning you from coming in!" -I was like, wth? -Meaniehead. -lol I'm so immature. -Family Guy season starts on Sunday! EDIT: Omg, Snicketface, I went to Subway today too! -That reminds me of a very funny thing. Bro's friend: Hey, do you play guitar? My friend: Uh, yeah. Bro's friend: And lacrosse? My friend: Yeah, why? Bro's friend: Me too! We were meant to be together. *hilarious look on face* My friend: *v. weired out* It doesn't help that they're three years apart. ;D

-I'm back somewhat later than I thought I'd be. -The traffic was pretty bad coming home. -But I had a good time with my grandparents. -Grandfather gave me a book of anti-Bush poetry called Obliviously On He Sails. -I also borrowed a sci-fi novel I've been meaning to read for some time, The Integral Trees by Larry Niven. -It's about a civilization living in zero gravity, in a cloud of gas and water vapor surrounding a neutron star. -It's quite interesting. -Grandfather and I went for a walk. -We hoped to see birds, but there weren't many out. -The weather remained cool and pleasant the whole time, though. -And the cake Mother bought was delicious. -It's called "ebony and ivory" cake and has chunks of dark and white chocolate on the outside, as well as chocolate icing.

-Morning. -I finished Feet of Clay last night, and it was pretty good. -And then I stayed up a while reading Hogfather, but then I was no longer able to keep my eyes open. -Father's listening to The Inimitable Jeeves on the radio. -Oh, I've put up the second part of PJ's story, The Job. -Obviously, I can't change the thread's title, though. -I've just had breakfast. -Bah, and now on the radio they keep on talking about delicious food. -I gather that I might be going out for a walk not long after lunch, and that indeed we may be having an early lunch in order to assist. -I'll have to ask Mother about it. -She just says that she wants to go somewhere different, and that we're going early to give us time to get there. -She doesn't know where "there" is yet. -The sky is, as usual, grey here. -The cake sounds nice, Antenora. -My glasses are smudged, and any attempt on my part to clean them only seems to further smudge them. -Bah. -Anyway, I'm going to read more of Hogfather.
