-My B12 has been dispatched from Amazon! -I might get it today. -I will have it tomorrow. -I was just out cycling with my friends for a couple of hours. -Then, with no warning, it started to rain. -And not just rain, that's an understatement. -My clothes were stuck to me. -I had to peel them off. -So I just had a shower. -*cough cough* -Oh no, I hope I don't get a cold now. -I don't have much else to say. -Except I made my first CV yesterday. -I don't think it's particularly impressive though.

-Pouring rain is the best kind. -It's no fun unless you get soaked. -Whenever people say B12 I think shot. -I'm wondering if I can just lay my head down on the computer desk and fall asleep. -We went to an art gallery today. -I supposed they'd frown on me lying under the tables. -I am really tried, sociology put me to sleep today. -There needs to be an effective way to hide yourself for when you just help falling asleep during class. -Though last year during ecology was the best when I actually saw the exact moment when people were reading chapters in their books and just fell asleep. -They're heads would fall down then snap back up. -It was fun to watch. -Lost party tonight!

-I got book 12 about 4 hours ago. -I got to the bookstore at 8 am. -But the bookstore didn't open until 10 am. -So I sat in the cold for 2 hours. -When the doors opened, I was the first in. -I got the book and got back out within about 5 minutes. -Then I had to hurry to school. -I was two minutes late to class. -I feel like a really dedicated fan. -But if I was really dedicated, I would have skipped school to get the book. -I'm on page 80. -And some teachers are mad that I thought the book was more important than their lesson. -So I had to put the book away. -Or I'd be a lot farther now. -I vowed not to come here until I was finished. -But I couldn't resist. -It looks like PJ's already got a fanfic and two theories. -But I forced myself not to read them. -Becuase then I'd be spoiling myself. -Well, the book is calling. -It wants me to continue reading. -I'm powerless to resist... -Goodbye.

-I still haven't got book 12. -And I won't get it until Saturday. -My parents are packing for something. -It looks like they're going away somewhere. -I think I remember them saying something about it... -Never mind. -I'll ask how long they'll be away though. -Two days. -Four day weekend for them. -I have next week off from school. -Which is good. -I'm starting to wake up really late. -Don't you just hate the feeling when you wake up and realise you're late? -I think I have my French speaking tape exam thing tomorrow. -Because my teacher said "Thursday, 11:20am" -I'm not sure if she means tomorrow or the week when we get back. -I've been told to write out a prompt sheet. -So I did. -I don't know if the way I've done it is cheating or not. -I've written the words that I can't remember, and I'm not allowed to have, backwards. -I can read backwards as easily as reading forwards. -Usually, it's a useless skill. But it's coming in quite useful.

-I got book12 yesterday. -I think it took me about eight hours to read. -It was really good -It was raining pretty heavy this morning. -It was really dark until about 8:30. -The rain did stop. -But then it snowed. -Bleh. -I think I'm going to make myself a quasadilla. -I'm going to a Hallowe'en party this weekend. -It's going to have movies and music and games. -And costume-wearing, of course. -It's going to be fun.

-Hm, I haven't been absent for as long as I thought. -I didn't have time to post here yesterday. -I had to do some English homework and some Maths homework, and then I went to see the new Wallace & Gromit film. -Speaking of the latter, I really liked it. -Today was rather dull, for me. -In Economics, then somebody left the class, and everyone took the opportunity to insult that person behind their back. -Which was rather cruel, I though. -It was also remarked upon that, on somewhat rare occasions, I make very amusing comments, such as in the following exchange: R. (or possibly J.): "So you wouldn't kick me out if I got, like, two on a test?" Me: "What if it was out of two?" -Jokes are never as funny when they're written down. -And I didn't think that one was funny anyway, but everyone laughed. -...And then later I was asked if I was the Devil. -My reply was deliberately ambiguous. -Right, that's it. -No more burning sunlight upon me. -Lousy curtains and the lousy Sun. -Anyway, I'm alone right now. -Mother's at work or at a course or something, and my father's taken my brother to the dentist. -I get a half-term holiday next week. -I need a break. -Oh, and it's The Big Unfortunate Event on Saturday. -The test should be slightly interesting. -And I wonder if anyone on 667 will win Egmont's Nameless Novel competition? -That would certainly be interesting. -It's really sunny right now. -Contrast yesterday evening, heavy rain. -I couldn't get Book the Twelfth from the first two stores that Mother thought of. -As a consequence, I'm getting a Snicket t-shirt from one of them. -I'd have preferred some other promo items - those mysterious postcards/bookmarks,, for instance - but when you don't have any, then I guess you can't afford to be picky. -I've got my copy of B12 on my desk. -I really like the spine colour of the British edition. -I'll probably get used to it eventually. -I'll also eventually put it on my shelf and not get it out much, although who knows when that will happen?
Edit:
-Speaking of X,000th posts, this is my 14,000th.

-Deanna, that's a funny song title. -I once walked out of a classroom for some reason, and heard everyone laugh right after I left. -I must have said something that they thought funny, I guess. -Being absent yesterday, I missed a Spanish test. -I couldn't make it up because we had a substitute teacher, who didn't have the test papers. -I also missed some Literature work that's due next week, but I've gotten started. -There was something due tomorrow, too, but I'm pretty much entirely finished with it. -We had a disaster drill in second period, which meant that everyone went outside and sat in the courtyard for about half an hour. -People kept complaining about how, if there was really a fire, we'd all be dead if we followed the drill procedure. -I'd like to get that Snicket T-shirt, if it's on sale anywhere I can find it. -It was on EBay at some point, but my parents wouldn't order it.

-I remember everyone complaining at our last fire drill. -It was raining, and was rather cold. -If there was a fire, then I doubt everyone would get out, even with all the staircases and exits the school has. -And it's a real squash on some of the stairs during fire drills. -Mother just said "Christmas is coming." -In two months, actually. -A sixth of the year. -It's not really very near at all. -I wonder what I'll get. -There's less and less that I want these days, but my parents always insist on actually buying me gifts. -Last year, I had to ask for something which I didn't want just to bring up the total count. -It's especially difficult, with my birthday being in December as well. -I could really do with it being earlier. -I like having B12 on this desk. -It's nice and colourful. -I may be getting a headache. -This has been happening increasingly frequently. -I've also been waking up too early a lot. -I wonder what homework I'll get tomorrow, to do over half-term. -Ugh, Mr. E. will probably give us quite a bit. -Mr. B. might just set us the rest of the chapter we're currently doing, as there are no more chapters in the book after that one, and there won't be enough time in the lesson to move onto a new one. -And I have Government in the afternoon, in which I already have homework to do over half-term. -So I should just get Maths homework. -I did some at school this morning because I had nothing better to do. -What a boring life I lead.

-When my school has fire drills, everyone has a lot of trouble finding what group they're supposed to be with. -Sometimes the drills are badly planned, and nobody really knows where to go. -I don't know what I want for Christmas, although I won't have to really consider the question for some time. -In Visual Basic class, we watched a presentation about robotics. -They've created an amazingly realistic robot that looks just like a woman. -It can't walk, but it has skin with thousands of sensors, so it can react to touch. -There's also an alarm clock that senses when you're in the lightest phase of sleep, still in development. -You wear a ring while you sleep, which picks up your brainwaves and sends signals to the clock, which goes off when you're ready to wake up. -I feel sort of sick. -I hope I don't have to stay home again tomorrow, because there's a big test in Photography class, as well as the Spanish test I couldn't make up today.
