My mom got me the new ASOUE book yesterday but I'm supposed to clean up my room a bit.
Today she got me three pairs of pants, two shirts, boots, shoes, tights, and some other stuff, and yesterday she got me two vintage jackets and a bunch of shirts, and last week she got me two pairs of pants, two shirts, and a sweatshirt. I love my mommy. Also yesterday she baked cookies.
Today a bunch of people in my grade and I went out to lunch and then we wandered around town and went to obscenely priced stores and gasped and some expensive looking Russian man at one of the stores was ordered to guard us.
After that my mom picked me up and we went to the mall, and while Iw as in the dressing room she said the guy who was giving out tags said that I have excellent taste. I could hear her talking about me.
I rented the Phantom of the Opera because we're reading it in French class.

-Did you watch Phantom yet, Char?? -Oh, wait, it's only been 20 minutes since you posted that. -But you should watch it.

-So, I'm in Religion...again. -I won't have any access until next Wednesday. -My parents leave fro Melbourne tonight and I'm with my grandmother. -Oh, my friends from religion say hi. -They find it amusing how I'm always on 667. -Well when I get free time I'll use it. -So, State trials tonight. -*nervous* -My hip feels pretty good. -My friend told me to drink lots of water. -Yesterday I drank 5 water bottles which is 3 litres. -I'm so sick of water. -So I started memorising the Raven. -I now know the first 9 stanzas. -I've been reciting it to people at school. -They all seemed rather uninterested though. -Now for english we're doing poetry and I decided I'm going to memorise the Walrus and the carpenter. -Well I better be off. -I need to look around. -Didn't get on last night.

-I'm out of school. -It's UEA weekend, so I don't have school on Thursday or Friday. -It's great. -And coincided very nicely with the release of book 12. -Which I've already read through twice in the past 36 hours. -I'm starting to get a bit bored. -So I'm staying up late so I'll sleep in tomorrow morning and the day won't be as long. -I made an avatar out of my favorite book 12 quote. -It's been forever since I made an avatar. -Usually because it takes too long. -I need to do something constructive tomorrow. -Maybe I'll write something. -I haven't written anything that wasn't a school assignment in a while. -I'm beginning to ramble. -I usually find myself rambling in this thread. -Hmmm... -Annelise mentioned the Raven. -Which reminds me. -I have a poem very similar to the Raven called "Poe, E.: Near a Raven" -It follows the digits of pi throughout the whole poem. -Whoever wrote it must have had way too much free time. - Ah, here it is.

-Why do I always catch a cold right before a holiday? -It hasn't been too long since I last had a cold, I'm sure. -But half-term rolls around and, predictably, today I started suffering from a cold. -On the bright side, I didn't get any homework from Mr. B., and I finished the rest of his other work in that lesson. -However, Mr. E. set us a lot of homework on some boring graph-related stuff. -I really can't be bothered to to it all today, so I'll do some more tomorrow. -I do have a week off, after all. -It looks really dark outside. -Dark enough for it to fairly be called truly dark, but not so dark that you can't make out the sky. -Actually, it reminds me of the background of the British aSoUE covers - black objects on a dark blue background. -And I also have to finish this fruit. -And I'll have to eat dinner soon. -Fortunately, I don't think we're having something I hate. -Oh, we had a fire drill today. -About near the start or middle of second lesson. -And it was raining heavily. -And it was cold. -I think we had to stand around like that for ten minutes. -We used to have to stand in form groups, but recently they decided that you have to be standing with the class you were just in. -It turned out that the fire alarms reacted to an experiment in the science labs. -Mr. E. was pretty angry. -He said he wants the alarms in the science labs to react to heat, rather than smoke, and he detailed some plans he has in which he'll basically blackmail the company which owns the school into hurrying up with it. -Hopefully, the main path down the drive to school will be completed by the time I get back after half-term. -At the moment, we're all squashed down a tiny thin path that goes around the edge of the site, and it's really slow at the end of school.

-That digits-of-pi Raven thing is interesting, Linda. -I've seen variations of The Raven where each word began with the letter the previous word ended with, or each word shared no letters with the one before it, and possibly others. -There are also mnemonic verses that help you remember the digits of pi by the number of letters in each word. -I can't remember what any of them are, though. -I've always been bad at doing graphs in math class. -I did go to school today. -The Spanish test I had to make up wasn't too hard, but it took a while. -It was longer than I remember previous Spanish tests being. -Then I had a Photography test, which wasn't too bad. -Today was another of those wacky dress-up days my school has from time to time. -It was "Prehistoric Day", so there were some people--relatively few, actually--dressed as cavemen. -Someone in my literature class complained that it was too cold to dress as a caveman. -I nearly fell asleep in a few of my classes, but I feel relatively awake now.

-I woke up somewhat late this morning. -Not very late, but later than I usually get up. -Hooray, half-term. -I need a rest. -I ended up doing a little more of my Maths homework than I intended to, yesterday. -At one point in the evening, I had nothing to do, or didn't feel like doing anything else. -Rather sad, really, to do homework because you have nothing else to do. -I did the same thing at school on Thursday. -If I had any dreams, I can't remember them. -It still looks dreary outside. -I swear that something has changed in the back garden. -Maybe the cypress trees are shorter... -It's something to do with the sky, I think. -It's been very clear over the past few days, so I can see quite a way away. -Anyway, I've just had breakfast. -Well, not really "just." -It might have been quite a while ago, actually. -I watched some of The Fairly Odd Parents over breakfast. -It was fairly predictable, actually. -Although I have seen other episodes that I've liked. -I can't really think of much to say. -I can't actually remember what my school's fire alarm sounds like, even though I've heard it several times. -Every time I try and remember it, I think of something else. -I think I can recall it now, but it still doesn't seem quite right. -Oh, and my dinner last night turned out to be alright. -I thought I should mention that. -I haven't found any interesting quotes to write down recently. -Maybe I should write down something from B12. -There are plenty of good lines in that.

-Last night at dinner, I was so tired that I took a fork from the drawer, thinking it was a butter knife, and actually started spreading the butter with it. -I make all sorts of stupid mistakes when I'm tired. -Sometimes, I honestly worry that my tendency to make such mistakes will someday kill me, or at least injure me badly. -It would be awful to die in an embarrassing accident that was entirely your fault. -I like the Fairly Oddparents, although I haven't watched it in a while. -I keep forgetting when it's on. -I have some homework I should probably work on, for Literature class. -However, I can put it off until tomorrow, or at least until this afternoon. -I've already done about half of it in school, and it's not too difficult. -Recently, I've been writing down just about everything anyone says that's funny. -I almost always forget to note who said that, so what I have is a file of unattributed, vaguely amusing quotes. -Later today, I'm going to a craft fair. -It's at a shopping center I've been to before(when visiting my grandmother) but I've never been to this fair before.

-I have a vaguely amusing quote from Mr. F. about the media, although I didn't think it merited a place in my commonplace book. -"They turn the news into soap opera, and soap opera into news." -It's true. -My lunch today was fairly dull. -The mushrooms on my pizza were too big, and my parents forget to get me more olives. -Still, it was better than the alternative. -Th eweather outside looks plain. -The sky is mostly grey, and I can see the clouds moving. -Something's definitely changed out there. -I'm sure I couldn'ts ee so much sky before. -Maybe a lot of leaves suddenly fell off the apple tree. -Actually, that could be it. -I'm not sure if it actually had many leaves before, though. -Mother's given me a part of the paper reviewing a book she thought I might like. -I recall seeing this same book in the bookstore and in catalogues, and not thinking too higly of it. -Still, reviews can be fairly interesting, and it's not long. -Hm, it sounds good in places, but mostly rubbish. -I feel quite well at the moment. -Maybe a little tired, but I always feel at least slightly tired. -I can see a small pile of cards on the dining-table. -They aren't playing-cards.

-What kind of cards are they? -Greeting cards? -Just wondering. -Wow, I'm tired. -It's 10 at night where I live. -This is about the time I go to bed on weekdays. -But alas, it is Saturday! -I can hear the TV in the living room. -But no one's watching it. -I suppose I should turn it off. -But I'm too lazy at the moment. -I'll turn it off on the way to my bedroom. -When I go to bed, that is. -Which should be soon, because I'm tired. -My shoulders are sore. -Which is bizarre, because I didn't do anything today that would be worthy of shoulder strain. -Maybe it's a hint that I should go to bed. -But probably not. -My leg's itchy. -*scratches leg* -There we go. -I'm playing with the cords under the desk with my toes. -It's fun. -The ceiling is really low in this room, the computer room. -I can touch it if I reach my arm up while I'm standing.

-The cards were collector's cards for some toys my brother collects. -Ut looks pretty misty outside again. -The sky looks more like it used to. -Maybe it was just the clearness of the sky that fooled me. -Anyway, as usual, I'm meant to be eating breakfast. -Hm, I think somebody's been vigorously hacking away at some of the plants in the garden. -Possibly our gardener who used to be a semi-famous footballer. -I've mentioned him before. -Some of the shelves below this computer desk are really thin. -Or rather, not wide, if you see what I mean. -Things always fall off them. -It'd be really nice if there was somewhere else I could shove this stuff. -I did some more of my Maths homework yesterday evening. -It was easy, but very dull. -Now, I'm sure there was more I meant to say. -But, as usual, I've forgotten it. -I should warn you now that I probably won't be online for much of tomorrow, due to my dental surgery. -I may be away for the whole day. -And if that happens, then I will be angry. -Mainly because it would mean that I'd have to spend hours at the hospital sitting/lying around doing nothing. -As if I don't get bored easily anyway. -The ceiling's pretty high in here. -And in most of my house, really. -I guess it wouldn't be high to a tall person. -But then again, a low ceiling wouldn't be low to a short person. -Actually, thinking about it, it might. -But that works both ways. -I'm rambling again. -I try not to, but sometimes it just happens. -To my left, there is a flame-orange towel, a dark green towel, and a dark blue towel.

-We just had major flooding in our town. -We were stuck inside for 3 days. -Which made me very happy. -Because in effect we were allowed to watch Batman Begins, and Kingdom of Heaven -Both movies were good. -Although Batman was better. -It definately redeemed itself. -After all those horrible previous movies. -I am currently watching the Lord of The Rings -Which was filmed in MY country. -Gollom is freaky -Mum hates him, he looks dead she says. -Mum is now currently hogging all the Reeses. -We have only 5 left. -And they don't sell them in this country. -How sad. -How sad. -They don't sell Butterfingers either. -Or Altoids. -Vous ne trouvez pas le Saint-Graal, c'est le Saint-Graal qui vous trouve. -Or Hershey's -How sad.

-I haven't posted in here in ages -I still read the posts, but I just haven't found much to post about -I just saw Shangai Knights -With Owen Wilson and Jackie Chan -And I just finished the book "Draußenvor der Tür" by Wolfgang Borchert -Rather depressing, actually -Though I liked the personification of things -The River, the Elbe, which spits the man out when he tries to commit suicide, because she doesn't want his wretched life -The old man, God, whom no one believes in anymore and is old and senile -Somebody, who is just somebody, he is the sort of concience type person, who helps the protagonist -And Death, who is in the role of, first, a General, then an Undertaker, and then a Streetcleaner -It's all rather depressing; its how a man returns from the second world war, and finds his parents and his one year old son dead, and another man in his house with his wife -He then goes from door to door, looking for a place to stay, but doesn't find one -Hence the title "Out on the threshhold" basically -Its rather depressing; it ends with the protagonist all alone, and I'm not sure what happens -I should be sleeping -And I should clean my room -And do Maths, and Chem -But those can wait -Or, at least, Chem can -I'll do what I can of Maths in the morning at school -<<sigh>> -I've finally amassed exactly 200 books -Proper ones, not comics or those crazy adventure ones -I feel proud of my collection -*feels proud* -I'll need a new shelf, soon.... -Goodnight, then -Oh, and I saw Serenity -It Pwned -Goodbye, and thank you

-I hope the dental surgery goes well, Dante, and you don't have to be gone all day. -Yesterday, I was worried that my town would be flooded. -We don't get hurricanes here, but there might be some risk of tidal waves. -However, I talked to my parents about it, and they're sure we live too far inland to get struck by a tsunami. -Sometimes, I randomly worry that I'll die in some freak natural disaster, or maybe a bombing. -I've been reading about nuclear war too much. -Last night we went out to dinner, and then went to a little shop not far from my house. -We bought some chocolate, but I haven't eaten any yet. -I feel kind of sick. -My house has low ceilings, which I can actually reach in some rooms. -I don't think I could reach the ceiling in this room, though, unless I jumped. -The craft fair yesterday was pretty good, although I got really tired from all the walking. -I bought a nice pendant. -Father wanted to take me to a college nearby, where I might be going next year, but we couldn't find time. -I'd have been too tired to walk around the campus of the college, anyway. -I don't know how many books I have in my room. -There are a lot that I should probably move elsewhere, or that aren't really mine.

-I love half term. -But not with all the booklets and things I need to do. -I need to pick a country to base my Textiles project on. -Any ideas? -I really don't know. -On Friday, at school we had a random assembly where we got a load of booklets about colleges. -There are a few I don't want to go to. -I'm not sure about Itchen. -Or Barton Peveril. -I think St. Vincents is too far away. -But it looks really good. -One of the booklets was really snazzy. -I can't remember which. -Last night I woke up at 3am. -It was scary as I heard a huge noise and I didn't know what it was -It was like a howling, growl-y noise. -I asked my Mother and she said she had no idea. -It might have been foxes though. -Didn't stop it from being scary. -Good luck with your Dental Surgery, Dante. -I hope you don't spend too long waiting around. -Hospitals are really boring. -When I had to go in about my eye, we waited nearly 6 hours. -We still didn't get seen, we just left because we were too hungry.
