As a gift to Daniel Handler this year, we have agreed to compile a list of 43 wrong questions about Handler and/or All the Wrong Questions. These may range from serious speculation to outright joke. Ultimately, they will be made to imitate the Snicketmails via a template that looks something like this, but for now we need only worry about textual submissions. Please use this thread to submit such questions. Any questions concerning what you should do or about the project itself can be directed here. All submissions must be posted in this thread by January 31, 2013. |

[quotation marks obligatory] Are you aware that someone has accused you of wanting to send the skyscrapers of our cities toppling? (for this and the preceding entry, see here) Which of the inhabitants of Stain'd wrote disturbing fanfiction? Is Ellington still into vampirism? Will there be any characters with remarkable tattoos? Will there be any characters with fewer eyebrows than normal? [a question based on my observation about the etymology of walruses] What coded messages are conveyed in the Mitchums' arguments? Will there be any (more) characters with ridiculous names? Will any baticeers be in this series? Will we ever learn the terrible secret kept by Prosper Lost? We know who it was at that hour, but who could it have been? Will the title of the second question begin with a W? is it true that Ellington Feint is the spawn of the Bombinating Beast? How does Hangfire conceal his long reptilian tail when in disguise? -- |

Great questions, Dante and Antenora (didn't expect anything different)! Other questions could be: Where's the library? [nod to the LSL.com/? site] And why does Hangfire want to get there? [needs to be paired with the previous question] Does a statue about the size of a milk bottle fit on a lighthouse lamp?
Does the hot air balloon have enough parachutes?How many arms does an octopus actually need? [reference to "Lost Arms" and the six-armed octopus on Ink Inc.'s logo] Will Qwerty live or rest in peace? [maybe slightly too literal?] Who has disregarded all the warnings that have been given, and whose ride has gotten wild? [maybe slightly too abstratct? A reference to Mr. Toad from The Wind in the Willows, of course] How do you sleep at night?Maybe " Where did you sleep last night?" instead. A nod to the Leadbelly blues song, blues music being something that really resonates with the Snicket universe. I'm positive Handler'll get the reference and I think he might like it. |

Great questions everyone! Does a statue about the size of a milk bottle fit on a lighthouse lamp?
I thought of something like "Is a lighthouse lamp about as big as the content of a milk bottle?" And something about Hangfire being Ellington's father, but I didn't know how to make a question out of that. |
