I think sex shouldn't be a fun activity that anyone can do whenever they want and as much as they want and with as many different people as they want. It should be something special, something precious, and so should the children that are made with it. As long as a woman gives a man "access" to her body she has to accept that for a while it won't be fully hers. Sex should absolutely be fun and enjoyable and if you think you're handing your body over to someone to use as a baby factory then you're doing it wrong. Although you shouldn't be doing it at all because Mister M and whatever. Last year a woman died in an Irish hospital because her doctors refused to give her an abortion. She was told that this was a "Catholic country" so shut up and deal with it. It's potato ing disgusting and there's been uproar. Like I think most people of my generation are sensible and reasonable but then I see these pro lifers campaigning and it makes me sick.

theres all kind of bills here that would allow doctors to lie to patients if they think the patient would want an abortion because of medical reasons. i think there was one case here where the baby was still born or was going to be still born and because of the doctor's faith they still wouldn't give the woman an abortion and the woman died along with her already dying/dead fetus.
and theres personhood laws which gives the fetus rights like two weeks before it is even conceived (which would limit the time a woman has to have an abortion because the time starts before she is even pregnant). a potential life does not trump an already alive woman.

i live in canada, as far as i know at least in my town, you can just go to a doctor and they'll refer you to someone who does them. there are always people who are against it but it's not really a huge issue like in the states so i think people are either mostly for it or don't really care or they're just not as vocal about it. pretty sure in canada it's legal all nine months, i remember i looked it up once when the pro-life office here had their billboard saying something about that.
personally i'm glad it's something that's available here because i know if i got pregnant somehow right now, i wouldn't be able to have a baby/go through the pregnancy.

there are people who are really vocally against it but most people im america want abortion to stay legal. actually more people are against abortions than not but more people want it to be legal because they're afraid of what will happen if its not.

and i respect other's opinions but crisis pregnancy centers are the worst. i know a girl who works at one. they make it seem like they're a type of planned parenthood and then they harass and guilt people into keeping/putting their babies up for adoption.
but literally people who are poor/dont have health care will go to them and pretend they're thinking of an abortion so they can get free sonograms, they just have to deal with lots of preaching/judgement which isn't a terrible deal really if you can't afford other care.

People in my town are mostly pro-choice but it's never been an issue because not that many people around here need to get an abortion, apparently. There was a girl in my school last year who got an abortion and it was a really big deal.

I really dislike abortions; I don't see myself ever having one, barring very extenuating circumstances, and I think they happen a lot more than they need to. However I think they should be legal. A woman who chooses to have an abortion does not come to the decision lightly, and I think rather than judging her and shaming her making her out to be a terrible person we can accept that she is capable of making her own decision. She's the one who's going to have to live with the consequences, whatever she decides, not some judgmental stranger.
And to make abortions rarer, we need a lot more of 2 things: EDUCATION, and CONTRACEPTION. I hope everyone, no matter what side of this you are on, can agree with me on that.

I believe people should have a choice but I still get super sad about abortions Because I'm like "WHAT IF I WAS ABORTED" but then I think "oh what if I wasn't the sperm who made it" but they still make me sad But still people should have a choice. Especially if they're educated about sex and had taken precautions already.

Abortion is a topic I find quite confronting. I could never (ever) have an abortion if I was a woman, and even being the male partner I'd feel terrible if I had to see my wife/girlfriend/whatever go through one (I know this is a terrible thing to say, but it is truly how I feel). Having said that I think it would be terrible to live somewhere where it was illegal, or be involved in Pro-Life campaigns. Not having ever been in this situation I can't imagine what it's like and what external pressures must feel like, but needless to say I'm not a super fan of it.
Not that I think that you shouldn't have a choice of whether to have a baby or not, but like, I'd personally rather if you took it to term (not that my opinion should have any impact on your life).
Yeah, I'm neither Pro-Choice or Pro-Life really. Just the idea of an abortion disturbs me. I just can't think of it any other way than as murder. Which I know is again a terrible point of view (to see from the baby's perspective rather than the mother's), but yeah. Hmmm.

I don't think it should be only reproduction, and I also don't think it shouldn't be fun because it probably is, but it shouldn't be done without thinking, and especially not without love and trust. I hate how so many people just have sex with many different people and it means nothing to them except fun for themselves. I also think it's kind of egoistic to call it choice. For me it's more like something between killing a living thing (you might not call it a person, but it definitely lives) and changing nature.
