Remember also that non-staff can always use the "Report Post" function to bring spam posts to the attention of those with the power to delete it.

Does that actually work?
I reported a post in my section and I didn't get notice of it.
Am I looking in the wrong place? or does it just go to tragedy?

As I recall it, a little box shows up between the forum header and the boards themselves detailing reportd posts. ...Not many people ever report posts, so I don't have a clear memory of it.

I've reported a post in your section, BSam. See if it makes a difference.
Edit: But yes, Dante's description is correct.
