I'm interested in seeing what they'll do with Young Beatrice later on in the series, if they ever do anything with the character at all. Maybe an epilogue in the last episode (if they ever get to one) where they show Young Beatrice growing up and sending her first letter to Snicket, then cutting to Snicket arriving at a remote location or his office or someplace, and seeing that he has received a letter from someone named "Beatrice Baudelaire". Then boom, cut to credits. (i'm thinking of something among the lines of this)

Not sure if someone has already said this, I don't have a lot of time right now to read the entire post, but...
The ending of The Bad Beginning is a moment I've ALWAYS wanted to see on screen (when everyone is in the dark at the theater, Violet is walking among the darkness with her wedding gown and count Olaf grabs her shoulders and tells her he will get the Baudelaire fortune before disappearing when Violet pulls the light switch again). I don't know why, but it's so visual and terrific.
The series seems to be aiming for a more detailed approach to the books, so I really think they'll keep that big finale for episode 2!
